| This fellow was a stray that was trapped. We don't know how he was trapped. He has to be lured out of hiding but once he's out he loves to be petted and play with his toys. The dark spot on his nose is a scratch that is more visible in the pictures then in person. |

| August 31 - The kitten comes home. He likes to be petted but once we leave the room he hides in the corner behind the desk. He is stuck in the study for a two week isolation period. We can make sure he is not sick and the other cats get time to adjust to his presence. Sept 1 - He hid onder the bookshelf. I can barely reach in to pull him out. He is quite fond of chasing the boa around. He is being very good with his claws. To get him to play I have to pull him out from under the desk. The other three cats are nervous about the newcomer. Sept 2 - I still have to pull him out from under the desk but now he will come out on his own when he is half out. He is curious about the other cats and wants to leave the study to visit them. They prefer to watch and occasionally hiss Sept 3 - He is coming out on his own when we come in the room and is getting vocal if he doesn't get enough attention. He also got a short visit out of the study and into the family room. He really wants to get out and play with the other cats |
