Here is where the story of this great young scientist started:
|
In the early 1990's, Roberto Hidalgo, better known under the name of Piolo amongst his colleagues of Ciencia Joven, Mexico, did a young scientists project on the taxonomy of dinosaurs. With his project, he took part in several international expo sciences organised by the MILSET. A new young scientists project on holograms soon followed the project on the taxonomy of dinosaurs. |

But in no way was the story of the young scientist Piolo going to stop there. Quoting Mr. Jean-Claude Guiraudon, current president of the MILSET, Piolo and his colleague Jorge Catzalco, "deux jeunes scientifiques en courte culotte" asked the MILSET president to organise one of the future Expo Sciences in Mexico. |

The dream of the two teenagers came true, and in July 1999, the Expo Science Internationale 99' was held in Puebla, Mexico, under the Direction of Ing. Roberto Hidalgo. The ESI 99' was a great success, and none of its participant will ever forget any of its fantastic moments. Roberto is now a university teacher in Chemistry (Thermodynamics) in Puebla. He also spends a lot of time in teaching science to very young scientists (The Pequeños Despabilados), and he is the former president of the FIPD (Fédération Internationale des Petits Débrouillards). Piolo's colleague Jorge is the current president of Ciencia Joven Mexico. |
