As you have just seen, I must have been about 4 years old when I had my first closer look at Cerastoderma edule, Ensis ensis, Arenicola marina, Asterias rubens, Balanus balanoides,... (not to forget all the fucoids, nor all the seagrass species).

Well, here I am, now, studying Marine Natural Products Chemistry at the SCRIPPS Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego.

In the meantime, I have taken part in the London International Forum for Scientific Youth 1996,

the Luxembourg Contest for Young Scientists 1997 and 1998, the Expo Science Internationale 1997 (Pretoria, South Africa) and 1999 (Puebla, Mexico), the International Festival of Science 1998 (Moscow, Russia), and the International Wildlife Research Week 1998 (Riederalp, Switzerland), the 2001 Erasmus Intensive Studies Programme in Renewable Resources, the Expo Science 2001 in Grenoble, France, the LIYSF 2001..., but you can read more about me on other pages of this website, so let's have a look to the profile of other great young scientists...
