Sales Policies |
- I will not ship my hamsters under any circumstances
|
- You must be willing to pick up any hamster you wish
to adopt in Gainesville Florida (unless you live in
Ocala or Orlando and you have made prior arrangements with me
to meet part way if you are adopting several hamsters).
|
- You must pay in cash (sorry, I have received
some bad checks).
|
- Adoption fee for one hamster on the available page
will be $5, $10 or $15 depending on color and rarity (champagne,
when available will be $20). Hamsters on the adoption
page will be $2.00 each.
|
- I guarantee all hamsters to be free of health problems
for 2 weeks from the date of adoption. Guarantee extends
only to a replacement hamster of same color and/or value. If
your hamster is ill or dies within this two week period, I will
offer you a hamster of the same value or coloration if available,
as you prefer. If the same color of dwarf hamster is not available,
you can also choose to wait until one is available.
|
- If you have a health problem with your hamster you
must contact me within this 2 week period to get a replacement
hamster. I am not required to offer a replacement hamster
if your hamster is ill after this period. You can however still
ask me. If I have one available, I may still be willing to give
you one.
|
- I also offer a temperament guarantee. I do
not knowingly offer on the available page any
hamsters that bite or attack people (I actually go out of my
way to test them and remove any hamster that shows aggressive
tendencies). However, if you end up with a hamster that bites
repeatedly, I will give you another hamster of the same color
or value. (Note: This does not apply to hamsters on
the adoption page as they may be on this page because they do
bite).
- An exception to this policy: If you set up
your hamster to breed, it may bite once pregnant or just out
of being territorial (male or female). This is normal for many
hamsters and I will not offer replacement for a hamster placed
in this situation.
- Hereditary guarantee: If you end up with
a hamster with a problem that may be hereditary in nature, such
as Flipping, stargazing, pacing, glaucoma or diabetes, I will
replace it at any time with a hamster of the
same color or value as you prefer. These problems may not turn
up until later in life so there is no way to know in advance
if a baby will display one of these traits. None of my breeders
display any of these problems and I try to keep a diverse gene
pool to limit the possibility of them occurring.
|
- I have the right to refuse to adopt out a hamster
to anyone for any reason.
