Genevieve Gorder is an interior designer who was featured on the cable television show, Trading Spaces.
I really enjoyed this show, but I was especially enthused over Gen's projects. I really liked the fact that she would
always take a small visual concept, and expand it into the theme for an entire room.

An example (as in the above pic): A game room design starts with a Scrabble board as inspiration.
Gen then paints grid lines on the floor, and has the couch pillows stitched into the likeness of certain board tiles.

The process of taking a simple, basic design and recreating the idea on a larger scale reminded me of
fractal geometry; in which, iterations become more complex, but repeat the same basic patterns.
So ends a very detailed explanation of a simple piece of art.
