I'm a big fan of Greg Dean's Real Life Comics, which is (in my opinion) the best web comic there is.

At one point, I liked the comics so much I went through the entire archive from
start to finish, during a couple of weeks when I had nothing better to do.

After which, my brain boiled down into a puddle of neon-green goo... but anyway, every once in awhile Greg would
allow some other talented artist to do a strip for him; either when he was having a sick day, he was
temporarily out of ideas, or when he just felt like sharing the spotlight.

As it was, the 'guest comic' would always exhibit a different art style than you found from Greg.
While there are some very good reasons for having it this way, I couldn't help wondering what it'd be like if by some strange conspiracy, a guest comic was indistinguishable from the real thing... and this is the result:

Comic #1

The storyline continues into a couple of other scenes, but as this is another of my
'spare time' projects, I've only completed so far as the next one:

Comic #2

These pics weren't so much "drawn" as arranged in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 from a bunch of stock images...
a bit like a photo collage. Give me some credit, though... it's a lot more involved than it sounds.

These images remain the property of Greg Dean, and no ownership is
being claimed by J. Douglas or any other individual, nor any right towards commercial use.
