Water:
Water's Mysteries:
1st a little note about The Element of Water & what it symbolizes.
It is also interesting to note, that all life first comes from water
& that Water represents the sub-conscious mind or ones "super-soul"
& inner spiritual knowledge & intuition.
Intuition=knowledge derived instantly or spontaniously from the soul
&/or innately from the soul/spirit
(& not by the "faillable medium" of the physical senses alone).
The element of water has long represented the secret mysteries
of this inner soul wisdom,
which can often only be reached via the sub-conscious mind.
dream-traveling, Other-World Traveling,
Astral Traveling, meditations & trances
are all ways that various beings access this soul knowledge. Or it may break through into our conscious mind or waking mind
as intuition or clairvoyance &/or visions!
Since Fey, including Water-Fey are comprised of almost pure energy,
that can take on virtually any forms from imagination
or from the imagination of the minds of other beings that they choose,
they can make very delightful Spirit-Guides to the "dear of Heart"
(& if you become close to them or become endearing to them,
finding their favor & not offending them.)
Your own energy & inner soul attracts various positive Fey-energies.
Any negetive fey are only brought about by violent negetive thoughts
either of yourself or others.
If negetive fey images or spirits are brought about by the violent negetive energy of others & you are not the cruel abuser,
but you have somehow crossed their paths,
then alliances with "Bright Fey" positive fey &Spirits & Energies
working positively on your behalf or disposed in your favor,
will aid you in dispelling them, often redirecting them
back at the human sender, who has unjustly sent them your way.
(This does not include innocent playful mischief,
which is considered joyful
& a normal part of a Fae's morality, in most cases.)

holding great wisdom.

Many Beings are often curious about water-sprites:

Yes there are water-sprites
for all types of water!
(even the dew-drops in flowers)
Water-Sprites:
are of course, mostly bonded
to the element of water.
Although some powerful Fae
(bonded to many elements,
planets etc...
may also appear as sprites
if they choose
by making themselves bigger
or smaller.)
Sprites or Fae appearing
in "sprite-like form" ,
usually appear as the tiniest
of Fae.
They can take on any appearance
that they can imagine,
but they often appear with
four little wings like a dragonfly's.
They are often colourful
& can even have colourful hair.
They often have little pointed
ears
& indigo blue, green,
turqoise or purple skin,
but some have milky white
skin with rosy cheeks
& blue or green hair.
(All manner of Fae/Fey were
around long before patriarchy,
in fact they have their beginnings
from the earliest Matriarchal Eras
at the very dawn of life
& creation !)
This is one of the reasons
Fae tend to be defenders
of females & children,
they are highly offended
by any oppression of them,
considering it unjust.
Yet, For the most parts the
genders are considered equal,
all other things aside.
There are males & females,
but they have no real rulers
amongst them.
Like most Fae, it is taboo
for them to tell their age in human years
& males are forbidden
to rule over females.
(This is very important to
Fae morality!
No arguments about the changes
in human morality
or changes in human societies,
can change this fact.)
If anyone pretends that water-sprites
have a king or certain kings,
without giving equal or more
credit to the Queen/Queens
they become very offended.
(This is another example
of how Fey morality
may be different from that
of some humans.
You decide which is best.
tee-hee! We go along with the Fey!)
In reality they have no boss,
although they occasionally
offer to help "serve"
or provide some favor to
a more powerful Fae,
in order to gain bonds to
more elements or in exchange for a gift.
(Although they do Love: "Goddess
& God" energies ,
who emanate from the "The
Loving Life Source":
In this archetype form for
them:
"Flower-Faced Fae Queen Giver
of Life
& The Fae's Green Man",
only somewhat more waterized
& ocean-looking
when with them of course,
(crowns of leaves or flower-petals
may become sea-shells etc..)
Sea-water-sprites are usually
spotted on the backs of dolphins,
or riding the white water
of the ocean waves.
Pond or lake or creek water-sprites
are often seen riding over
the water on the backs of
dragonflys or butterflys.
Ocean water-sprites are usually
more
closely related to mermaids
than others,
yet some merfolk can shapeshift
into watersprites too.
(Such "mer-hybrids"-are very
powerful water-fey,
they may be bonded to seashells,rocks
& the moon, as well as
being bonded to water)
Baby or "toddler" merfolk
are often called "Water-Babies".
Merfolk do sometimes name Kings or Queens in certain areas,
but it is mostly a title of endearment
or one that denotes wisdom & beautiful enchantments
& that they helpfully guide or do nurturing things for the others,
instead of being bosses over others in any dominateing way.
Merfolk come in all colours, from the blackest skin to the lightest
& can even be blueish-green skined
or purpleish Etc...
Large Merfolk may have a single or double bottom half. (Tail)
Water sprites often have legs
with web-feet
or just a little webbing
between the toes, but this varies.
Occasionally they have a
tiny fin on their back,
in between their wings.
There are also even types
of flower-water-sprites
that play in the dew-drops
of flowers.
These Fae are usually bonded
to flowers
& have obtained a bond
to water also,
making them a little stronger!
These type of flower-water
sprites
are usually very cherubic
looking & beautiful.
They often wear flower-petal
hats & very little clothes:
made from petals or green
leaves.
Sometimes they wear shell
or flower-petal bonnets
that circle all the way around
their little faces.
(This is where the image
of the little face
inside the center of a flower
comes from. *S*)
These type often carry a
little pallete of paints
& love to colour things
in nature, etc.
Sometimes they wear nothing
but body-paint,
which they enjoy washing
off & painting back on.
Sometimes they paint tiny
flowers (like tatoos) on sleeping Fae
(or even people while they
are sleeping outdoors)
as an innocent prank.
The paintings on the skin
can be washed,
although they may leave a
little stain for a day or two afterwards.
(much like grass or berry
stains, only shaped in a design.)
They are very playful &
mischievious in an innocent way.
They also like to tickle
others with little feathers or blow in their ears with a little conch shell.
They usually have green,
amber, dark brown or lilac coloured eyes
that are almond shaped,
yet often pointing a little
upward at the outer corners.
(Their skin can be any colour.)
They usually have small,
round child-like noses, "button noses"
& full pretty lips.
Asrai:
Asrai are a type of positive
Fae or tiny water-sprite
that can grant wishes, asking
little in return.
They are almost always female,
wearing light almost transparent
flowing dresses/gowns.
They have long beautiful
blonde, light-red ar golden brown hair.
They are white or clear &
seem almost transparent, like a mist.
Their sparkles & colours
are white, silvery or gold.
(Usually a combination of
these, but very subtle.)
It is hard to see them long
enough to get their eye-colour,
except a little flash of
green or light amber.
They often appear to dissolve
into a little pool or puddle of water,
if you spot them in the sunlight.
They are extremely ellusive
& hard to see.
If you see one, immediately
make a wish & Bless the Asrai
that it will become stronger
& live!
They are very vulnerable
in this realm
& their visits are usually
very brief.

Merfolk of The Emerald Isle
& "Magical or Enchanted Beings & Creatures",
seem to come in all Shapes & Sizes?:
From the tiniest sprite or Fae,-to human sized Fae,-
to even some "taller than human sized" Elven Fae,etc...?
Always remember that taller
height or a certain size
does not always have to denote
real power.
Very powerful enchanting
& magycal beings can also appear
to you in a very tiny body,
if they want to.
Just as beauty comes in all
shapes & sizes & colours. ;o) wink
Sometimes they will even appear
in the shape
you can most identify with
or admire yourself
or the form you find most
pleasant at the time. L.O.L.
Yet, others will be surprized
to see a Fae
with a form they had never
dreamed of before themselves.
Thus, some humans will insist
that Fae look
rather sensuous & yet
others
will say they are more asexual
looking-tall & anorexic
& some will insist they
are tiny & cherubic,
some will say they are either
tall or tiny, yet well-endowed
& some others will insist
they look more like funny little children.
Some will say they saw a
particular tiny Fae turn
from little, to human sized,
to giant; all in the same visit.
So probably they are actually
all right in their own ways,
since there are many types
of Fae & Merfolk
(even though they may share
certain general attributes)
therefore also those which
can also appear
in a myriad of forms to various
Beings.
