J.R.R Tolkien

He is touted as the best fiction writer of the century.  And who could disagree when he gave us Middle Earth, Gandalf, hobbits, orcs, ents, elves, dragons and Sauron?  The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Return of the King have all been made into animated features and this Dec. 19 viewers and fans around the world will finally be able to see one of the greatest epic stories unfold before their eyes.  The Lord of the Rings boasts an all star cast including Elijah Wood as Frodo, Ian McKellin as Gandalf and Ian Holm as Bilbo.  Because of its cast, previous fandom, and sell out, it promises to be a huge rival to Harry Potter and will vie w/HP for the top spot in money making this year.  This is my tribute to Tolkien's work and my fanfiction depicting the years after the Third Age.  If you haven't read the books yet, I sincerely suggest you do, because these fics might ruin things for you.  Hope you like and criticism is always accepted.   Info coming soon.

Lord of the Rings Tolkien Society

This has to be the best movie ever made.  They stayed so true to the book that it was about 4 hours long.  I absolutely LOVE it!  Sir Ian McKellin was the perfect actor for Gandalf and Sauroman was simply voracious. Merry and Pippin were always in for a laugh and Frodo was perfect.  If you have not seen this yet, GO SEE IT!  I've seen it twice already.  Two nights in a row.  I tell you yet again. GO SEE IT! It is worth every penny.
