Pre Show

A. Singles Match
Shannon Moore vs. Cassidy Riley (*)
-Not really too much here, but it perhapss just went over the 3 minute mark. Finally Cassidy has gotten away from the Raven follower gimmick, but I doubt he will get over anyways. Moore got the win in this match after a whisper in the wind kind of move, doesn’t look like any of these guys are going to get a push soon.

B. Tag Team Match
Shark Boy & Norman Smiley vs. Diamond in the Rough (Young/Skipper) (½*)
-Didn’t really follow this too much, but it didn’t look good from what I saw. The Jobber in the rough got the win, after a double STO thing. I don’t really get they are using Smiley now, sure he seems over, which I don’t understand why, but he really can’t offer anything to TNA.

PPV

My god that opening promo was awesome!

1. Singles Match
Alex Shelley vs. Jay Lethal (**½)
-I really expected more from these two, tthey should have made more out of the time they had. It pleased me to see Shelley pick up the win with some Sliced Bread, which in some ways was a bit of an upset, considering Lethal’s push at the moment. But it now seems like they might even use Shelley more, even outside the Jarrett thing, and Lethal didn’t get trashed here either.

2. Singles Match
“Maverick” Matt Bentley vs. Lance Hoyt (3/4*)
-Very weak match with a crappy ending, buut I liked Hoyt picking up the win, I can’t really get behind Matt, he needs to be in a tag team, bring back Kazarian for gods sake.

3. Tag Team Match
Team Canada (Young/Roode) vs. The Naturals (**3/4)
-Good match here, between two of the bestt tag teams in TNA, there was some errors here and there, but overall it was good fun. The Canadians did some good heel work during the match up, and ended up getting the win after a shot with the flag loaded hockey stick.

4. Six-Man Tag Match
LAX (Homicide/Machete/Konan) vs. The James Gang (BG/Kip) & “Bullet” Bob Armstrong (3/4*)
-Bullet is in pretty good shape for a guyy his age, but the match was pretty much blowed as expected. Hopefully this is the end of the feud, and the end for LAX (but they should still keep Homicide in TNA of course), this match was the basic revenge match for Bullet, and his team also got the win after the One and Only (Not sure it’s still called that) from Kip.

5. International X Division Showcase
Puma vs. Chris Sabin vs. Petey Williams vs. Sonjay Dutt (***)
-So it ended with Dutt taking the fourth place in the match up, well that sucks. I haven’t heard of this Durango guy and I can’t remember Abysmo Negro, but they can only be better than Dutt. This was a fast paced spotty match, which was actually pretty fun. It wasn’t really a normal Puma type match (from what I remember) but he did well anyways here in his TNA debut. If you like high flying spot matches this will be the match for you, but I am not too crazy about them. Sabin picked up the win here after a cluster fuck finish, where he ended it with the Cradle Shock. Shouldn’t this be a preview to the World X-Cup with UK, US/TNA, Japan and Mexico? Then why is Petey involved? I understand they had problems with the dudes from Mexico, but where was the UK wrestler?

6. 8-Man Tag War
Jeff Jarrett, Abyss & AMW vs. Ron Killings, Rhino & Team 3-D (**3/4)
-I didn’t really see too much of the starrt of the match, as I decided to make a damn good sandwich, which can only have been better than the brawl all over the arena in the beginning of this match. Look like it was worked decent towards the end of the match, if you think about no surprise that Jarrett picked up the win here.

7. TNA X-Division Championship Ultimate X Triple Threat Match
Samoa Joe © vs. AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels (***1/4)
-The match was pretty well built; I was aa little disappointed, that we didn’t see Joe climb the wires more than he did. The ending seemed weird and out of place for me, it seemed to come out of nowhere. But I liked that Daniels picked up the victory, the match really didn’t kill Joe’s character, since it just plain wasn’t his match type, and I guess now we can finally get the closing chapter of this feud, at next months PPV in a match between Joe and Daniels, and then for god sake give some other people some spotlight.

8. NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match
Christian Cage © vs. Monty Brown (**½)
-A decent little main event here, there wwas really never a question if Christian would lose here; I thought the finisher came a little out of the blue (again). Monty actually impressed me with some his moves in this one, and he worked hard to make this a good match, at the same time it was a good carry job from Christian.

As the match was over I looked at the clock and saw there was like a max of 20 minutes left, so I knew something would happen. After the match Jarrett and his army came out and attacked Christian, Sting or should I say Steve Borden came out and made the save and beat up the Cowboys, the Canadians, the masked men, the cameramen, the midgets and what else there was left in the ring. He put Jarrett in the Scorpion, and then Jarrett friend made his presence felt, as Scott Steiner making his TNA debut came and attacked Sting, and the PPV ended with Planet Jarrett beating up Sting. Flashback to around WCW 2000 (or was 99, can’t remember honestly don’t care) NWO Black and Silver, hope this one actually comes off a little better.

Overall: B-
- Actually a pretty solid show from TNA, but it didn’t really feel special. Some potential all around, I must say it looks a little better, but then again the cage PPV is next, not a good sign.
