Cometh the Senshi Yui
~By Sailor Yui/Bri Teva

Bri yawned and quickly turned her alarm clock off. 6:30. Briana probably could have slept in peace throughout the noise, except for the fact that this would disturb, alarm, and hurt Bruce's ears greatly. Bruce was Bri's gerbil, a fine, handsome brown male. She had only had Bruce for a week, and had noticed that on top of Bruce's head was a bald spot that looked as if it were growing back. However, strangely, this bald spot took the likeness of a crescent moon. If you were to look straight at him, then you would only see two little bald points on his forehead.
"Mornin, Bruce." Bri yawned, and in the same breath opened the top of the cage and scooped up Bruce. "Hey, big guy!" She said gently and kissed the gerbil on his bald spot. She cooed and stroked him until her mother came in and cried, "what are you doing? The bus'll be here in fifteen minutes!"
Bruce had closed his eyes and was enjoying the attention, but glared in annoyance at Mrs. Teva.
"All right, Mom, I'll hurry!" She looked until her mother closed the door, gave Bruce a final kiss, and returned him to his enclosure. Hurridly she changed into khakis with two small cargo pockets that she never used, and a solid forest-green T-Shirt, her favorite color combination. She jumped down the stairs and grabbed a peice of toast one of her gluttonous brother, Tom was about to eat. "Mornin', Tom! Mornin', George! Mornin' Mom, Dad!"
"Mornin'." Tom and George mumbled back simulteaniously.
"Good morning, Pumpkin!" Mr. Teva gave his daughter a kiss on the cheek as she glared murderously at her brothers, who were coughing/laughing behind their napkins.
"Mornin' sweety." Her mother said indifferently behind her coffee. Brianna and Mrs. Teva had not been on good terms, lately, apparently because of the "Terrible Teens", but it didn't seem that way to Bri.
After Bri finished her toast, she heard the bus honk.
"'Bye guys!" She and her brothers called to their parents. Tom and George were fraternal twins, inheriting their mother's blonde hair and blue eyes, while Bri had inherited green eyes and copperish hair from some distant part of the family, since her father's hair was dark as well as his eyes.
She sighed for no reason and, with he same movement, she scooped up her dark green backpack and took out and put back her pony tail, with a brown hair thingy, of course.
Briana had friends, several good friends, but none so good as Alex Bearnett, her best friend since the age of four.
"Wussup, Bri?" Alex said good-naturedly, his blue eyes twinkling under a few misplaced strands of brown hair. Alex's hair was always messy, he never brushed it and his parents never forced him to. Sometimes Bri wished she could live that kind of life, but her parents were always making her be clean and orderly.
"Oh, not much. Why did you bring Eorpe?" She pointed at the round hamster in Alex's cage. Alex's father was a specialist in ancient languages, and, according to him, 'eorpe' meant 'earth' in Anglo-Saxxon, and the hamster was thus named this after his tubbiness.
"It's pet day! Remember? I was gonna ask why you didn't bring Bruce!"
"Aw, man! I forgot! Uh, Mr. Jones...?"
Due to faulty engine, the schoolbus didn't run like it used to, and Mr. Jones, the bus-driver was having trouble getting it started again. "Go ahead, if I finally get The Crate started again, I won't leave without you!"
"Thanks!" Bri still sniggered at the nickname Mr. Jones and the students dubbed onto the bus. There was even a ceremony with root beer.
"So that's why I had the travel cage out!" She said outloud without explaining to her parents. "Brucy-boy!" She exclaimed, scooping up the brown gerbil. It looked as though Bruce were grabbing on to something, he looked startled, but when he was put into the travel cage he relaxed. "Alright, big guy!" She rushed downstairs and into the bus.
"Hey, Bruce!" Alex grinned. "Can I pet him?"
"Go right ahead!"
Alex opened up the top of the cage and stroked the gerbil. Bri decided not to interfere with Eorpe's nap and said aloud, "I can't believe our parents both got us rodents for our birthday!"
"Yeah. Tell me about."
One of the many things Bri and Al had in common were sharing the same birthdate, which was when they had met ten years ago. "Did you notice that white patch of fur on Eorpe's head?"
Eorpe was mostly black with a circular spot on his forehead. 'Circular' was the key word since it looked like a two-year-old had drawn it. "Yeah. Wierd...oh, look! The furball's woken up! Hey, big guy..."
***
"Well, since it seems there are a smattering of rodents today, why don't we put the three together and see how they react?" "Erm, okay..." Sandy muttered.
Sandy, Briana, and Alex walked up and put Bruce and Eorpe in Reepicheep's cage, since she had the biggest. ("Only the best for my Reepy!" With a wink from Sandy.)
The two gerbils sniffed Eorpe and, more suddenly then expected, turned away, and sniffed around in eachother's, er, personal spots, as gerbils naturally do. The two took to eachother immeadeatly and Bruce started to...
"BAD BOY! NAUGHTY BOY!" Briana cried. As an afterthought, muttering into Bruce's ear. "Horny freak..."
"Er, what's wrong?" Mr. Flinkwater asked dubiously.
"Uh...shall we say they were about to...make babies?" Bri grinned weakly. However, there was a tiny squeaking from the cage that sounded like laughter.
Eorpe had rolled flat on his back with his paws on his rotund stomach. Alex picked the hamster up by his stumpy tail and glared at him. Bri's eyes widened when she thought she caught a weak grin. She rubbed her eyes.

Since it was a Tuesday, Alex and Briana always liked to walk home, instead of taking the bus, so they could grab some ice cream at a local shop. The two friends and the owner were on a first-name basis by now.
However, a block away from the icy, sugary haven, Alex suddenly stopped and looked in an alley.
"Bri! You stay here! DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE!" Without waiting for an answer, Alex ran into the alley, jiggling and jarring the cage, much to the annoyance of Eorpe.
"Hey! Wait up!" Bri ran after Alex. "Oh my..."
A dæmon, that looked like it came from a fairy tale, a suit of armor and a...Jeep Cherokee...? Okay...maybe one of those politically correct fair tales...anyway, was using his lance to fire an attack beam at the rest of the Senshi and their guardians. Alex was nowhere in sight.
"Briana! In here! The cage!"
"Woah! Bruce! You c'n talk?!"
"'Course I can! I'll tell you later if you live through this ordeal, though."
"Thanks!" Bri growled.
"Anyway take this necklace and-NO QUESTIONS!-Yell 'Sailor Yui power!'" The necklace had been buried in a burrow Bruce had been working on all day. The necklace bore a single pendant with a single tree and a single leaf on its right side.
"Why?"
"YOU'VE SEEN THE NIKE COMMERCIAL! JUST DO IT!!!"
"Okay, okay, sheesh!" Briana put on the necklace and did what she was told. "Owowowowowow! High heels! Ow...Hey, Bruce! What's this bag for?" Cringing in pain, Briana/Sailor Yui held up, limply, a brown leather drawstring bag.
"Oh, that, you call out 'Yui Attack!' and reach inside. You should pull out whatever you need."
"Erm, okay...gee, looks like those other people need help!"
"Idiot! Those are the other Senshi! I'll explain later! JUST DO YOUR ATTACK! THEY'RE ALL TANGLED UP IN MACES, IN CASE YOU DIDN'T NOTICE!"
"As a matter of fact I did! Sheesh!" She cast Bruce a backwards, menacing, glance. "Yui Attack!" Reaching into the bag, she felt something! Grinning darkly, she pulled out her weapon triumphantly, only to find a drooping..."Feather?! Is this some kind of a joke?!"
If you're worrying about Alex, he was watching from another side-ally. "Eorpe! It's those Senshi! The other superhumans! They've been helping me out alot!"
"Yeah, well, if Briana just pulled out a feather then it seems like they're going to need alot of help!"
"Well, uh, I was just gonna do that..." Out of midair, a scythe formed in Alex's hand, and as if one with his eyes, the scythe and our friend's baby blues flashed at the same time. But, as soon as the scythe was in it's master's hand, Alex transformed into...the Ignis Bearnett! (The other super-hero on this side of town! (Translation: Fire Burn. Duuuuuuuuude!)) Alex's uniform was a red coat of armor, with a red cape. (Coincidentally, Alex's favorite color! Yuk! Yuk!) Gripping his scythe, Alex dove into battle.
"Dude! It's the Ignis Bearnett!" Bri called, waving.
"Greetings, Sailor Scout! I'm afraid we'll have to-yowch!" Alex barely dodged an attack beam. "Er, have to defeat this monster, seeing as the other senshi are a bit tied up now!" Alex couldn't help but snicker. The other Senshi were tied up in maces and were sprawled on the ground. "Boy, do I crack myself up! Er... anyway. How're you goon defeat that dude with a feather!"
"Yeah! How are you? Maybe you should try reaching in again!" Bruce said.
"You seem to forget quickly, dear Bruce! I know the Martial Arts!"
"Hey! That's a feather from Draskin!" Sailor Dragonspaw called.
"Who?"
"Forget it! Just throw the feather in that guy's weakspot, though he doesn't seem to have one..."
"'Course he does! The weakest part of armor is the neck! Let's just hope my aim is good!" The feather hit. With a screech the dæmon vanished. But the Jeep didn't.
"DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE! A JEEP! LET'S DRIVE HOME! Except none of us know how to drive...pooh. Ah, well! I'm Sailor Yui!"
Along with the dæmon, the maces had vanished. "I thought I was the last Senshi!" Sailor Sandrock pouted.
"Whelp, guess Sailor Yui is!" Dragonspaw smiled and shook Bri's hand. "Thanks, mister dude in red armor...hey...where'd he go?"
***
"Well, Eorpe, I thought I had sensed something in Bri...guess my manly intuition was right!"
"Whatever. Hey, can you give a hampster a break? WHERE'RE MY CARROTS?!"
"Right over there...or are you too lethargic to get them?"
"I'm too lethargic. Give 'em too me!"
"Here you go!" Alex sighed. He'd been looking for people like him all his life...superhumans, people with powers, like the Senshi. Eorpe had been exiled from the Moon Kingdom for something he was wrongly accused of, which was why he could talk.
"Eorpe, when can I tell her"
"Soon, maybe in a little while."
"I hope so...it's good to know I'm not the only freakshow around here..."
***
In the next few weeks, the Senshi all got to know eachother and became good friends.
The End

NOTE: Sorry for this being so long, but when I have a creative flare, I have a creative flare! Also, Eorpe is Anglo-Saxon for Earth, as I said before. My sister, (IRL) who, around here is known as Sailor Sandrock, and I, think that it's pronounced "Earphe", because "Eo" later evolved into "Ea" for the English language, and "p" later became "t", so, just to let you people know...
