A Trial of Faith

Only Sailor Dragonspaw and Kyle really belong to me (since I made them up). Um.... I don't really have anything to say, except don't sue me for what isn't mine and don't copy what little is mine. Oh! I'm the author (if you didn't guess). Enjoy A Trial of Faith.


Serena is running to school when she hears a scream. She drops her books and runs toward the scream, as she runs she pulls out her communicator in case she needs the other scouts. When she gets there she sees a horrible crab-like monster sucking the energy out of Molly. There are bodies of drained people all over the ground. Serena calls everyone over the communicator and quickly changes into Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon calls out her speech and the other scouts arrive in time to and theirs. By now the crab monster had dropped Molly and turned to watch them. Now that they were done someone screamed "Lovely speeches. Goodbye!!!"
The monster shot a glowing net at them. None of the scouts were able to escape. Everyone glowed an odd shade of green. The monster smiled and vanished. A very handsome man with red hair and blue eyes appeared. His name was Kyle. He had specially designed the net to bring every scout to his side by exploiting their weaknesses. Kyle had seen Queen Beryl try to destroy the scouts and be destroyed herself. It wasn't Beryl's failure that had given them this plan really; it was that she had brought Tuxedo Mask to her side. Kyle wasn't strong enough to destroy the Sailor Scouts, so he employed his on version of the saying "if you can't beat them, join them". Kyle then spotted Tuxedo Mask trying to come to help and threw an odd looking blue rose at Tuxedo Mask and watched as Tuxedo began to glow blue. Kyle smiles in satisfaction; his plan was working perfectly.
Lita opens her eyes and saw Andrew, he turns to her and he says, "You should have died with your parents. I hate you, they hated you, and everyone else does too!"
Lita cries out "No!"
Amy opens her eyes to see Greg who says " You're nothing to me! A good for nothing nerd! I hate you!"
Ami whispers "Greg!"
Rei opens her eyes and sees her grandfather; he says, "Rei, I always knew I couldn't count on you. You are an irresponsible child. I hate you!"
Serena opens her eyes and sees Darien; he says "Serena you are so featherbrained! You are stupid and klutzy. I'm going to find a real girl. I hate you!"
Serena screams "No!"
Kyle smiles as he sees that his mind drug its job, making the scouts see the ones they love and trust the most betray them in their own mind. Kyle frowns as he sees Sailor Moon crawling out from under the net. He doesn't know how she could have resisted. Kyle held up his right hand, palm open, and a sword with a plain black handle appeared in his hand. He slowly walked over to Sailor Moon who was now unconscious and raised the sword to kill her when a voice called out "Stop! Stop that right now Kyle! You know that this is wrong."
Surprised, Kyle demanded "Who said that? How do you know my name?"
A young girl with shoulder-length brown hair, green glasses like Sailor V's, a knee length deep green skirt, with the top similar to the other sailors. Her past the elbow gloves were a solid deep green with the design of a white dragon and a red dragon on each forearm. She announced "I'm Sailor Dragonspaw and in the name all true dragons I'll punish you."
Kyle murmurs "Dragons? Hmm."
Kyle is still holding the sword above Sailor Moon he remembers he has it and begins to swing the sword. Sailor Dragonspaw jump kicks Kyle's out of his hands. Then she punches Kyle in the mouth, scoops up Sailor Moon, and runs away. Kyle who had been knocked to the ground when Sailor Dragonspaw punched him sat up and wiped the blood from his bottom lip.
Sailor Moon wakes up a few minutes later in Darien's apartment on his bed. Sailor Moon transforms down thinking that Darien had brought her to his home. Serena gets up and finds Sailor Dragonspaw. Serena demands "Where's Darien? Who are you? Where did you come from?"
Sailor Dragonspaw looks up from where she is sitting and says, "Hello. Don't be afraid. I'm a friend. I need to tell you that Kyle, that guy back there, has brainwashed your friends and brought them to his side. I took you here; you should be safe here. By the way I'm called Sailor Dragonspaw."
Serena replied "Did you know you have a bloody lip?"
Sailor Dragonspaw reached up to wipe her lip and saw the blood on her fingers and tears started rolling down her face. She smiled sadly and said "You can go home now; it's safe. Kyle won't be able to know where that is, and your friends won't remember you either. Have hope Sailor moon."
And with that Sailor Dragonspaw leaped off the balcony before Serena could ask her anything else.
Serena went to school very depressed. She was on time for once. Miss Haruna announced "We have a new student; her name is Katrina."
Serena looked up and saw a young girl with short brown hair and brown eyes standing at the front of the room. She seemed familiar.
At recess Molly and Melvin went over to tell Serena about the new girl. Melvin whispers "Serena you know that knew girl Katrina, well no one knows why she's here, she's really odd. I hear she can't talk."
Katrina came up behind them and says softly to the three "I can talk."
Melvin jumps and looks ashamed.
Katrina smiles and says, "It's okay. I've just moved here and am feeling very shy. So I haven't said much."
All of a sudden Sailor Jupiter appears with a scary tree monster. Sailor Jupiter is wearing her old Sailor Suit but with odd colors. The tree monster reaches out with one of its branches and grabs a student then starts draining the energy from him.
Both Serena and Katrina run off. Suddenly Sailor Dragonspaw and Sailor Moon make the scene. Sailor Moon shouts to Sailor Jupiter to remember who she really is. Sailor Jupiter is very confused because she recalls perfectly how everyone on this planet spurned her and the others because of their powers and she had been warned by Kyle about the selfish humans and their lies. A voice was heard from above "Sailor Jupiter get back here and stop those cats from fighting again. I'm sure Treedon can take care of everything."
The voice was Kyle's.
Jupiter disappeared. The tree shot one of its branches at Sailor Moon and Sailor Dragonspaw pushed her out of the way and got grazed on the shoulder, it left her shoulder bloody. Sailor Dragonspaw got angry. She crossed her arms in front of her and shouted "Dragon Flame Consume" and uncrossed her arms (the movements are similar to Sailor Jupiter's first attack) and a tongue of flames surrounded the monster and all that was left of the monster was dust.
Sailor Moon said in an awed voice "Wow, that was really cool."
Then Sailor Moon saw that Sailor Dragonspaw had passed out... Sailor Moon leaned close to hear if the new scout was breathing when she heard Sailor Dragonspaw say "Kyle help me I'm dying," the words almost echoed.
Then she heard a man's voice reply "I will help you."
Sailor Moon found that Sailor Dragonspaw was too heavy for her to carry so she could only hope Sailor Dragonspaw would recover.
Sailor Dragonspaw opened her eyes and stood up brushing the dirt off her skirt. And told Sailor Moon that they had to get out of here fast.
A few minutes earlier Kyle told Sailor Jupiter to watch her step with the other Sailors. Sailor Jupiter and the monster Treedon went through the portal to the normal realm. Kyle watched through a mirror how Sailor Jupiter was doing on her first mission. Kyle spoke to himself "Some how that Sailor Dragonspaw seems familiar. I wonder where she came from," just then he saw the two Sailor Scouts appear and the two cats launched an all out attack at each other "Sailor Jupiter get back here and stop those cats from fighting again. I'm sure Treedon can take care of everything."
Luna and Artemis were fighting again and let me tell you what a mess. Even Kyle had to come over to stop them. After it was all over Kyle noticed an odd scrape on his shoulder. Then he heard a voice "Help me Kyle I'm dying."
Believing the voice to be Beryl's he answered "I will help you."
Kyle fell to the floor with very little energy left.
Serena finds herself running to school; late yet again when to the surprise of Katrina Serena trips and falls straight into Katrina and they both fall down. Serena franticly repeats sorry and looks up to see Katrina. Serena says "You late too? Let's get to class."
Serena then grabs Katrina's hand and starts off running. Katrina struggles to keep up and is nearly dragged to school by Serena. In their classes Katrina scored really well in everything except gym because she couldn't run fast enough.
At lunch Serena snuck up behind Katrina and Katrina said "Serena, I know you're Sailor Moon. I'm Sailor Dragonspaw. I need to tell you something about Kyle and your friends. Meet me in the park after school okay? Because I can't tell you here."
Next thing Serena knows is that Katrina's gone.
Serena goes to the park as Katrina asked and finds Katrina by the small lake. Katrina is humming a clasical tune she looks up and greets Serena and suggests that they sit under the tree to their right. Katrina takes a deep breath and starts "Kyle has lost his memory of when he was a good person. No, wait I'll start at the beginning. You remember when your mother, Queen Serenity, sent all of you to the future. She knew that earth was truly lost not only because the humans allied with Beryl but also because Queen Beryl had taken the greatest prospective ally the dragons from earth. My brother and I were the prince and princess of all dragons. Queen Beryl managed to charm my brother. He would go to any length to impress her. Beryl thought that my brother was ugly in his dragon shape. So he kept his form as a human. That didn't satisfy Beryl had him "escort dragons to talk to her". She tortured and killed those who would not swear allegiance to her. My brother believed her lies completely. In our human shape my followers and I fled to the moon. My brother hardly remembering his own name came after us as Beryl ordered. Beryl had become bored with him and seeing that we were all gathered in one place, decided to be rid of the dragons and the inhabitants of the moon with one attack. And as you already know Queen Serenity used the Silver Crystal to send us all to the future. Kyle is not only my brother but also my twin. Twins are rare among the dragons and our leaders can all change from dragon to human. We don't have any particular royal family but the one who rules us always is powerful enough to change from human to dragon and back. Our race spans many galaxies so I don't know how many dragons still live. We have to save Kyle and your friends. He is this way because something is using his memories of Beryl. You've seen the dragons on my gloves, I'm the white dragon and Kyle is the red one. Do you still want to work together?"
While telling Serena all of this Katrina had focused her eyes on the distant horizon. Serena asked " Why wouldn't I work with you or be friends? You are a good person."
Katrina looked up and smiled. Then saying, "Then what are we waiting for? Let's get this thing!"
Serena and Katrina transform into their scout forms.
"Dragonspaw power!"
"Moon Prism Power!"
They combine their powers and tele-port to the main base of the bad guys.
"Scout Teleprompt!"
They arrive in a fog-enshrouded place. There was apparently no one around. Sailor Dragonspaw looked up and said "Kyle show yourself."
Kyle appeared in front of them. He gave a mocking bow to Sailor Moon and said, "For the murder of the only person that cared for me you will die."
He raised his hand into the air and the black sword appeared in his hand. Then Kyle lunged at Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon's eyes closed; she knew she would die, but she didn't. She opened her eyes and saw what had stopped Kyle from killing her. Sailor Dragonspaw. Sailor Dragonspaw had taken the blow meant for her. Sailor Moon gasped "No."
Something about Kyle cleared as her focused his eyes on Sailor Dragonspaw and said "Sister, what have I done?"
Sailor Dragonspaw laid her hand on Kyle's forehead and whispered "I always cared."
Sailor Dragonspaw turned and called Sailor Moon to her and instructed her to hold her hand for a moment. When Sailor Moon grasped Sailor Dragonspaw's hand she suddenly saw that last day on the moon and remembered everything.
Sailor Dragonspaw's suit faded away and a dress appeared it was a mix of green and white. She said to Sailor Moon "This place is a trial of faith. Remember your hope, love, and light. You must see the good within the shadows."
Kyle added, "We believe in you," he now wore a red outfit similar to Prince Darien's.
They began to fade away and Sailor Moon heard them say "Do not fret we will meet again."
Sailor Moon set off to find her friends.
Once she spotted Jupiter she steadily walked to her. Jupiter attacks with Jupiter Thunder Crash. Sailor Moon was of the light and the attack only destroyed things of darkness so it passed through her causing no harm as she walked forward. Sailor Moon grasped Sailor Jupiter's hand and called "Lita."
Sailor Jupiter found herself in an almost limbo. A light shone in front of her, it seemed to radiate peace and calm. Then Lita remembered everything. She then fainted.
Sailor Moon felt sure her friend would be safe so she went in search of the others.
Sailor Venus and Sailor Mercury attacked Sailor Moon. Then Venus and Mercury leaped at her. Sailor Moon caught their hands and murmured "Amy. Mina." Mina and Amy found themselves in an odd limbo and saw a light that seemed to know that it was loved just for itself. After being near it they felt the same way, loved. They then remembered everything. The shock caused them to faint.
Sailor moon went in search of the rest of her friends.
Sailor Mars stood up when Sailor Moon came into her view. She used an evil be gone charm on Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon took Mars's hand and they were transported to a limbo. Mars saw a light that was incredablily strong and had a confidence that it would turn out well. Mars then felt that confidence. Suddenly flashes of memories bombarded her mind. She fainted.
Sailor Moon looked at her closest friend and knew all would be well.
She came upon the cats, Artemis and Luna, fighting. Sailor Moon reached her hands into the fight. Her palms came to rest on their heads. Artemis and Luna came to find a light that believed in everyone. As they too began to feel that, they remembered everything. They also fainted.
Sailor Moon smiled at their resting forms and walked on.
Sailor Moon soon came to Tuxedo Mask. He shot a black rose at her. She caught it and in her hands it bloomed red. He was surprised and ran at her. She stopped him with a hand on his chest, over his heart. He saw a bright light that seemed to be made of hope and love. A light of happiness in stark darkness. As the time passed more and more he felt like that beautiful light. He then remembered everything. When his mind finally couldn't take all of this and remain awake, he passed out.
Sailor Moon walked to find Queen Sparkle.
Queen Sparkle looked just like her sister Beryl. Sparkle screeched "You killed my sister! It's all your fault. You were the one who caused them all to die."
Sailor Moon began to doubt herself when she remembered what Kyle said. She called "Sparkle I believe in you. You just lost your faith. I'll help you."
Queen Sparkle was confused and asked, "Why would you help me?"
Everyone came up behind Sailor Moon and replied "The same reason she helped us. Her endless love."
Sailor Moon glowed brightly then and everyone saw a different quality in its eternal glow. When her physical glow diminished a beautiful woman in a flowing blue dress stood in front of Sailor Moon. She said, "Thank you Sailor Moon. When I lost my faith I was blinded to the truth and love around me. Now I will send you back without the memory of this place tainting any of you." She waved her arms and everyone disappeared. A small siamese with a crescent on its forehead stepped forward and exclaimed "Wow. Good job Sparkle. Do I have a scout to go home to still?"
Queen Sparkle replied "Yes, they all passed the test. Even Kyle. Maybe someday your Katrina will be as strong as Sailor Moon."
