The Political Views of Stephanie Hunt
There will be some thoughts expressed here that you
will probably not agree with and so I give you the option (and
encourage you) to reply with your own views. Below are topics
about which I hold strong views and which I'll write regarding:
September 11th &
Resultant "War On Terrorism" + Australia's Involvement
Australia's Stance On Asylum Seekers
Middle East
I know for a fact that a large portion of people will
not have the same beliefs as me, very few will hold views
exactly the same as me. Email
me if u want but if you are extremist on the opposite side
and don't give a good argument, with proof, not just "you're
wrong", I'll laugh in your face. And please excuse my spelling.
I know it can be bad... U should know what the words are supposed
to be.
September 11th & Resultant
"War On Terrorism" + Australia's Involvement
20th Dec, 2002: First off, though I may dislike
America as a country, I generally don't hold grudges against their
people, individually... except in the case of their current President,
George W. Bush. Though I think that America, as a country, had
the September 11th attacks coming to them, I don't beleive that
any, or all, those who lost their lives, and family members, deserved
it. I just choose to look at what America does in the world. To
notice that America so very often sticks it's big nose where it
isn't wanted. They persist to dominate the world, imposing fear
on other, smaller countries. And then they wonder why some choose
to hate Americans! To try to undermine their authority.
We have the UN. The UN is the world's approved peace
keeping force. They alone have the power to decide if a country
must back down or face attack. And yet America persists to take
this role. To pull at other allies to keep them in line with their
world views. Their values. And they wonder why others fight
this. Different people have different values, beleifs, desires
in life. Humans' aspiration for individuality demands this and
to try and snuff it out is asking for a resurgance against others.
This is why communism fails... well there's the whole people-in-charge-rise-to-top-and-keep-others-down
thing, too. But it's the idea that people have nothing to strive
for except to keep the whole a whole unified entity. To make people
think that them, as individuals, do not matter. Because it is
this belief that we are individuals, different from everyone else,
that make us different from other animals. If we are unable to
aspire for the best possible life, to rise out on top of others,
we find no reason to live except to destroy that which makes this
unable to happen.
So when the US decides that the way people live is
wrong and act upon this thought, they are trying to destroy people's
spirit. So why would these people not act against
this 'evil' action? And they keep trying to show that the American
way of life is the best way. But others cannot come and live this
'American dream'. They must live where they are... under American's
iron fist. Does this not sound as mad as Taliban rule? Where people
must follow their values? America just puts on a mask that is
wider and hence harder to see.
And so of course we see the 'evil axis' coming from
predominately Muslim countries. Their religeon states that women
must have their bodies covered. I don't profess to understand
the full reasons/laws of these things. Whether it is always supposed
to be all skin/hair, hiding anything that could attract male attention
(including form), and why this is supposed to be. See I'm an atheist
so kinda see religeon as a way of ruling the people - Muslims
being an ideal example of this - but I still envy people of faith
who hence have a given reason for their existance spoon fed since
birth. I am still finding my own reason for existance.
But back to the 'axis of evil', and why the Muslims
often are pushed into this title. Both Musilms and Americans dictate
the way you should live. Though while Musilms push down women
to be at the bottom rung of the steps of the social ladder, America
pushes itself to the top rung of the world ladder, sticking it's
nose up to all other societies. America is the ideal Capitalist
state, showing to the world the best of what can come from such
a state, but also the worst that can come - the dominance by certain
individuals (ie. the Bill Gates empire of Microsoft, which I think
he deserves completely, and if he dominates the market, then so
be it!). America professes that their way of life and society
is the best, but it has no possible way of helping people suffering
starvation in Africa, so how can it be the best? Wouldn't the
best one help these people, and make sure that everyone has food
on their plates? But America continues to push the idea that they
are the best and no-one else really comes close to this. But not
all can live here. But you can look! See how well we live! How
wonderful it is to live here! But don't come here.
And the Muslims push the other side. Not everyone can
aspire for the dream of perfection. The women must stay home.
Be the men's wives and nothing else. If they choose to learn,
they must do so with only other women. Away from the prying eyes
of men. The that which is stated in their religeon comes before
all else. Before the laws of the world. If a woman is unfaithful,
well they have commited a crime of such magnitude that they deserve
to die! Different dictatorships. Neither which I'd want to live
in. We must have the opportunity to live the way we want to. But
we mustn't offend others. There must be a place for everyone to
live the way they want to live. But people must have the opportunity
to change. To leave the values of those people in charge. You
must have the choice to follow a religeon. No-one must be forced
to pray to a God they don't beleive in.
So if the US just stopped sticking their noses in.
To only help when the UN has approved intervention, then there
would be no more S11's and O12's. And we would not have to deal
with whatever comes next November. I only hope that we can resolve
differences before then. I know we can't, though. It is human
nature to want to be on top. To have power over others. It's not
just human nature, it's animal instinct. But the way America acts,
and the followings by the stupid John Howard, and the neive following
of the English... well we're just going to see what happens next.
On the Middle East:
Recent events (up until 7pm, 5th April, 2002 - Melbourne
time) have sparked even further outrage to the goings on in the
Middle East. It seems that Israel has joined the "Axis of
Evil". They have continued the extreme violence that openly
began with the September 11th. President Bush joined the axis
when he stiked back. He accused numerous other countries of being
the enemy when America had gotten what had been coming to them
for a long time. They stuck their big noses in other people's
bussinesses for decades and have openly frowned down on so many
other countries for so long. Isn't it amusing to note that although
the Taliban had oppressed the Afganistan people for so long it
was only when they had attacked American civilions that they did
something? Nothing was done by any major powers (including the
UN) until now. Now Israel has called suicide bombing by Palisitinions
terrorism and have now done the exact thing that has caused the
anger towards the US and them previously.

If you missed it the first time: I know you won't
hold the same views as mine, so feel free to email me: fpvs_smh@yahoo.com.
And though I'm extremist there is no need to hunt me (Stephanie
Hunt, Melbourne, Australia) down as I have yet done anything except
vocalise my views and show interest in other extremist activities.
