Greater Deity (Lawful Evil)
Domains: Evil, Fire, Law, Nobility, Strength, War
Dogma: Only the strong deserve the right to rule, and strength is measured in success on the battlefield. Strength comes in many forms: physical, mental, magical and warskill. Peace is a failure's false solace. Chaos leads to a lack of control, and control must be maintained.
Cruelty is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Subjugation. The devout must use strength to exert control over others, when possible, or must seek strength when subjugation is not immediately possible.
Favored Weapon: Greatsword
Greater Deity (True Neutral)
Domains: Air, Animal, Earth, Fire, Plant, Water
Dogma: Strive to live in harmony with the natural world. One should support works and deeds that promote and preserve harmony with the natural world. Suffer not the existance of undeath, for they are accursed and defile the world.
Respect is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Preservation. The devout must take action against those who harm or destroy nature, or otherwise upset the harmony of the wilderness.
Favored Weapon: Quarterstaff
Greater Deity (Chaotic Good)
Domains: Community, Chaos, Creation, Good, Healing, Protection
Dogma: All life deserves reverence. One should support good works and deeds for one's family, one's home, one's community and one's kingdom. The devout promote mercy and compassion for the living, and condemn murder and wanton destruction.
Marriage is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Vigilance. The devout must defend those from harm who cannot defend themselves, such as children, the elderly or the infirmed.
Favored Weapon: Heavy flail
Greater Deity (Chaotic Evil)
Domains: Charm, Chaos, Corruption, Death, Evil, Trickery
Dogma: Change creates purpose, so one must become an agent of change, that the world will serve their purposes. Form and structure halt change, cause stagnation and thus remove purpose. All endings are also new beginnings, so one must create changes, either subtly or by force, that cause endings so that new beginnings will arise that serve one's purposes.
Corruption is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Sacrifice. The devout must sacrifice a minimum of one HD of sentient life per character level every season. The ritual must be performed during the new moon, and it must last at least an hour.
Favored Weapon: Shortsword
Greater Deity (Chaotic Neutral)
Domains: Chaos, Protection, Sun, Travel, Water, Weather
Dogma: The sea is harsh; it makes one strong with its tests, and pure with its waters. Life without risk is empty; live life to the fullest and damn the consequences. Protect creatures of the oceans, both upon its surface and in its depths.
Wanderlust is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Baptism. The devout must be submerged in the salty waters of the ocean at least once a season.
Favored Weapon: Trident
Greater Deity (Lawful Good)
Domains: Air, Good, Healing, Law, Sun, Weather
Dogma: Protect creatures of the sky (primarily flying creatures). Support good works and deeds that promote peace and a harmonious community. Do not tolerate willful acts of evil, nor unrepentant criminals.
Forgiveness is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Exorcism. The devout must seek out and destroy all undead, and shall not suffer one to exist which could potentially bring harm to others.
Favored Weapon: Longsword
Greater Deity (Lawful Neutral)
Domains: Darkness, Knowledge, Law, Luck, Magic, Oracle
Dogma: Promote a balance between light and dark, the masculine and the feminine, the mundane and the magical. Support works and deeds that recover and preserve lost knowledge and lore. Seek out omens, signs and portents, for they often reveal secrets that have been lost.
Education is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Honesty. The devout must not lie, for doing so promotes false knowledge and lore, and that is an affront to the Star Maiden.
Favored Weapon: Morningstar
Greater Deity (Neutral Good)
Domains: Artifice, Creation, Earth, Good, Healing, Strength
Dogma: Protect creatures of the earth, both upon it and below its surface. Respect the earth and mountains, for the firmament is the foundation of life itself. Be as strong as the stone, and as resistant to destruction.
Protection is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Safeguard. The devout must protect communities from destructive forces.
Favored Weapon: Heavy pick
Greater Deity (Neutral Evil)
Domains: Darkness, Death, Destruction, Evil, Strength, War
Dogma: Life is a battle, thus every battle is a testament and celebration of life. That which does not kill us makes us stronger, and only the strong survive. From the darkness of our souls comes our greatest strength, in mind, heart, spirit and body.
Conquest is a sacred responsibility.
Duty: Victory. The devout must not lose a battle through the ineffective use of superior force. (This includes encounters against foes of a lower encounter level.)
Favored Weapon: Greataxe
