TRACK MAINTENANCE

We are very lucky here in Fort McMurray. Each year local businesses loan us heavy equipment, and we completely redo our track. These community minded companies are very generous when we ask them for a loan of their equipment. The only cost we have to bear is fuel - if we didn't get this kind of a deal, we would not be able to maintain our track. The companies that have helped us out are:

Let us not forget one of club members, Dave Burn, who is largely responsible for getting this equipment for us. He talks to the local businesses and arranges for the loan of the equipment, he floats the equipment out to the track, puts in a 12 hour day running the equipment, and then long after we are all done for the day, he floats the equipment back, that is after he washes and refuels everything. A successful club needs people like this in order to be successful. Wish we had more members like him!
