4. VENTILLATING FAN Decaying plants, rotting food and waste materials all emit certain gasses that, in high enough concentrations, could harm the Hotel's Guests. Therefore it is important to provide adequate ventillation for your Hotel. Many people have elaborate ventillation setups involving small computer fans and electricity converters. Someday the Killer Frog Hotel might have the technology to do this. In the meantime, we ventillate the Hotel by A) leaving the "hood" open most of the time, and B) once in a while aiming a small pocket fan into the Hotel for a couple of minutes. We do this 1 or 2 times a week for a few minutes at a time. The Guests seem to enjoy the cooling breeze it provides. Sometimes they emerge from the furnishings to chill out for a while in the wind. |

5. POCKET FLASHLIGHT This is necessary if you have a heavily-planted vivarium. Often times, Hotel Management will go days without seeing a particular Guest in the Hotel. After a while we check around, to see if everything is ok. The small flashlight allows us to cut through the shadows in the dense foliage with a high intensity beam of light. And though the light is bright, it's scope is very narrow. This thin beam allows us to focus on a particular Guest without bothering the others. |

6. REAL FAN Sometimes when it gets too hot outside, we aim a fan at the Hotel to cool it down. Our fan happens to be a million years old......but it still does the trick. |
