There was a challenge to write a story that starts with the sentence, "I had coffee with your mom."
This was my third one.
Paramount owns the Star Trek universe, I'm just paying homage.
"I had coffee yesterday with your...mum...mum..." Janeway was fascinated. She'd never seen Seven stutter for a word and yet, there she was doing just that. For that matter, she'd never seen the former Borg such a pale ashen color.
A second later, Seven collapsed on the ground. Janeway dove to her knees and felt for a pulse. "Damn," she muttered, there wasn't one. She glanced at the outfit--no way could she loosen it. She went to begin CPR...Only her small hands couldn't fit between the two mountains.
Janeway sat back on her heels with a sigh. She would have to wait and hope the Borg technology would do its work.
Seven's eyes fluttered open. "Captain..." There was a strange look on the younger woman's face.
Seven sat there and watched the captain being carried off by a large humanoid wrapped in gauze.
