Summary: The Doctor must treat Janeway for a most surprising disorder...
Warning: The following is based upon rumors/spoilers of an upcoming episode. The story itself has nothing to do with that episode...There is implied sexual contact and it's not J/C.
Disclaimer: Well, if TPTB continue to offer such good material to parody...what can I do? Resistance is futile.
The Doctor spun around as the doors to sick-bay slid open. "Good evening Captain, you're up late." She was walking with a slight slouch and limp. "Captain? Are you all right?" His voice was tinged with stern concern. She looked like she'd lost another round of Velocity to Seven.
"Shut-up." His eyes opened wide as she whispered those words. "And shut-off those damn recording devices. This is not to appear in any medical record, anywhere." She grabbed the counter to keep from falling. He rushed over and helped her to the bio-bed.
"Perhaps I should inform Commander..."
"You will do no such thing," she snarled. "As I said, there will be *no* record of this visit..."
He was curious, just what had she done...Several possibilities raced through his matrix. She didn't have any symptoms of being drunk...Those three days of shore leave on Remel Prime. She had become close to the Remelo governor. This would be interesting. A new STD...Emergicio Doctorus...Too bad he'd never found that perfect name, a new disease to the Federation should have a better sounding name...
He picked up the tricorder and scanned her quickly. "Hmmm. Been sitting out in the sun. Some interesting sunburn..." He tapped his tricorder with his finger and scanned her again. His eyes opened really wide. "Oh...Captain, how did you manage to sunburn your..." Her glare cut him off, but he continued on a tangent. "Fascinating. I've never seen this before. I shall write..."
"You will do no such thing," she started to sit up. "Just repair the damage and forget you saw me tonight."
He sighed. She was never a good patient under bad circumstances. She was even worse under embarrassing ones. He carefully lifted her skirt and started the healing process. "Deal--on one condition. Tell me how you managed to get a sunburn in your..."
"Don't say it." She sat up and smiled. "Thank-you."
He watched her leave, still curious. "Computer where was Captain Janeway for the last hour."
"Captain Janeway was in holodeck one..."
"Oh..." He paused, then whistled. This was absolutely incredible. He knew that holograms could be programmed to be very realistic and fully functional--he was a prime example. But this was the first time he'd heard of an intimate encounter with a hologram leading to such symptoms. It was one for the medical books.
It was the equivalent of a STD; passed from a hologram to a real person. He chuckled quietly as he entered the data into a secret file. It was definitely worth further research. Possibly even examining the program she was with, to see what was different.
All parts of a hologram were comprised of light. ALL parts. To have been burned where she had been burned really required some active contact.
Damn, now he was even more curious. He spun around and closed the file as Seven entered.
Hmmmm...
