Castlevania:Aria of Sorrow Tips & Tricks

Well, you've finished the game and you think that you've finished the game, right? WRONG!!!! There's so much more to the game that meets the eye, so just enter these and follow these tips to make the game harder, more fun, and reveal how to get the other two endings. Enjoy! :)

Cheats

These codes make the harder and funner. Remember, these codes will only work AFTER you've beaten the game once.

Play as Justin Belmont:Enter "Justin" as your name and play as the awesome vampire hunter!

No items mode:Enter "Nouse" as your name. This makes you not able to use any items (except equip items), this makes the game a LOT harder.

No soul mode:Enter "NOSOUL" as your name. In this mode you can't use any of your soul abilities(except ones you need to finish the game with).

Tips

These are secrets you probably won't find anywhere else.

Secret Endings:To make it possible to get these endings, you must fight the so called "last boss" (the one in the Throne Room) with the following souls equiped: "Flame Demon(red soul)", "Giant Bat(blue soul)", and "Subucuss(yellow soul)". I bet you found clues that point to these souls in the three books in the castle. So fight the Throne battles and see something VERY shocking. After that, go to the Floating Gardens and go through the dark door you couldn't go through earlier. In there you'll fight a boss (no spoilers!;)). Beat him, go to the Chaotic Realm, make it through alive, save your game, and fight the final boss. Now this is where you can get the other two endings.
Die in fighting the final boss and you get the worse ending of all three endings. But if you fight and beat the boss, you will see the true ending of the game, and it's very emotional. You'll love it, trust me on this one.

Unlockables you get after you get the true ending:After you beat the TRUE final boss battle, you unlock a "Special" menu you can access from the title screen. It has "Sound Mode" and "Boss Rush Mode". In "Sound Mode" you can listen to all the music in the game(Heart of Fire is awesome!!) and all the voices. In "Boss Rush Mode" you go through all the bosses in the game (except the true final boss).

Secret Weapons

Here's a list of all those awesome secret weapons!

Claim Solais:This is probably the best weapon in the game, so get this one no matter what! To get it, go to the Forbidden Area (the Forbidden Area is in the area with all the water, just look for it, it's on the right side of the warp point, and use either the Manticore or Curly blue spirit to get past the waterfall.) and go to where the pirate ship is. Go into the water and go ALL the way to the left where the dead end is. Hit the wall 'till it breaks, go in, and there's the Claim Solais.

Handgun:The Handgun is at the entrance to the Forbidden Area (it's in the same room as it). To get it you must have someway to fly to the top of the cave (one way is the Giant Bat soul). It's not a very powerful weapon, but it's a cool weapon if you like guns!

Holy Spear:On the way up the cave to get the Handgun, on the right and left hand sides you'll see other rooms you can enter where they have goodies in them. One on the left hand side has the Holy Spear.

The Secret weapons in the Arena area:In the Arena, the three rooms next to the boss room have secret stuff. But here's the only way to get the secret weapons is to get there in under 3:00 hours (or under 2:30 hours, I forgot which one), go through each room and collect your prizes. But before you do that you must beat every boss up to that point.

Death's clothes and weapon:You remember in the Clock Tower, right? Well do you also remember seeing an object that looked like a cloak and one a weapon right next to the boss? Well to get them you must go back there in under 3:00 hours and get them with the Giant Bat soul. The cloak like object is Death's Robe and the weapon is Death's Sickle! Boy I'm sure spoiling you!

Blood Tear Drop:Get it with the Giant Bat soul on the ledge right before the "last" boss.

Excalibur:Now this weapon is hard to get. The only possible way to get it is to beat "Boss Rush Mode" in under 5:00 minutes (!!!!), so you've got to be a master at the bosses before attempting this.
