Snipers Page
Welcome to my snipers page. I am ~FN1~Kaitet+. I started off as a sniper when I first started to play Delta Force Land Warrior in July of 2001. I have stuck with it. Although I  play as other characters, I am a sniper at heart. This page is a tribute not only to snipers but may it server as a sort of manual for those who would soon become a sniper. If you have played DFLW for a while you have definitely heard bitching about the snipers and the fact that some would go as far as to say they are pussy’s, because they wont come out and fight. DO NOT let this discourage you. A sniper is a highly important member of any unit. They are not only the eyes in the sky for their unit but they are also the guardians of those fellow members. There are many tricks to sniping. If you are truly interested in being a sniper then here are a few hints I will share with you. I will not give away all of my tricks. So I hope the information I give you is helpful.

Rule # 1: You must have patience. Do not get gun-ho and think you can kill everyone.
If you get 20 kills per map then you have done damn well.

Rule # 2:
Wait for your target to come into range. Do not compromise your position

by way of of shoot and hope( incase you need an explination that would
be shooting in the general direction of the enemy and hope you hit one of
                    them.)

Rule # 3:
Never stay in the same spot for any length of time. This will surely
compromise your position. Keep on the move. You can either circle
the entire target area or move between points and take your shots as you get
                  them.

Rule #4:
Learn your weapons. You have 3 sniper rifles to choose from. You must
practice with all sniper rifles and know which one will be the best for
each different map. Since each map has different terrains and other obstacles
you need to know which is the best for each terrain.
Rule # 5: Carry a sufficient secondary weapon. (I do not recommend the MP5 it has no
                  stopping power.)
Rule # 6: Decide on your type of explosive. Although the AT4 is one helluva weapon,
by firing it you have compromised your position. You can always relay to
your team the location of the opposing force. Some players use it as a defense
against would be killers.(I choose the satchel my self  sssshhhh that’s a secret
and that’s all I will say the rest you gotta figure out for yourself.)
Rule #  7:  Always take time to check your 6. You never know when a sneaky little
bastard has made it behind you. Last thing you want is to have your throat
                  cut.

Well that’s about all I can divulge. The rest is for my squad and I to know. If you just hang in there and practice, you will be shooting like it was second nature. You will figure out your own means and ways. Oh, almost forgot. Remember the sniper is a fast crawler but cannot run or jump for shit. One other thing.  Below you will find pictures of the M82A1 BARETTA .50 cal ,  M4O , and the  PSG-1 and a quick descrioption of suggested usage. And thank you again for visiting my page.

The M40 is mid accurate rifle effective up to 700m. It is good for short to mid range shots. All around good rifle for any terrain or weather condition. Its only draw back is that it looses velocity and starts to drop after after 500m so you have to compensate for this. With extra ammo you get 28    5round clips
The M82A1 is highly accurate rifle effective up to 1500m. It is good for all shots with its 14x scope. Highly effective in open terrain and clear day or night maps. Limited sight in fog.  Its draw back is the kick it has, and that it takes longer to rechamber a round. Also that it is loud and makes it easier to pinpoint your location. Little to no loss of velocity or altitude.  With extra ammo you get 6   10round clips
The PSG-1 is a highly effectice short range rifle. Effective from 0-300m. Equiped with a 4x scope. It delivers a silent death, and can be rapidly shot. Its draw backs are that it lose's velocity and alltitude due to the silencer,  Great for foggy and night maps. With extra ammo you get 8   20round clips.
