A problem affecting all religious communities

I am a Catholic and I absolutely deplore the evangelization tactics used by some Christian groups in Sri Lanka. Recently I was accosted by a group that promised salvation for all those who followed their religion. These people have no real understanding of the Bible and take a quote from here and there and use it for their fundamentalist purposes without caring about the effects such activities cause. These fundamentalists take special pleasure in converting Catholics to their sect because they do not believe Catholicism is correct. I cannot understand why they are allowed to operate so freely. I know a few Catholic families who have been destroyed by their activities. All Sri Lankans need to stand against unethical conversions committed by a minority of Christian fundamentalists. It is a problem that is affecting all religious communities in the country.
