I was in the dark, 
I was desperate for light.
A guard for my cell, 
You did your duty,
You came and went.
But your tenderness touched me.
Your sympathy soothed my soul.
You've lit an eternal flame in me.
Now what burns in me, is devouring me.
My hunger us insatiable.
Your distance only distresses me,
and I long for you every moment of every day

I feel so much, 
I can't get you out of my mind.
So much passion, 
Giving me hope.
I struggle to put together the pieces.
