Of diverting my attention 
I looked high,
I looked low,
I looked around me
A complete 360
And to my surprise Ii found you before me.
And as my heart started falling, 
I was left in confusion, 
A mix of happiness and much sadness.
And as my heart started to fly away, 
I jumped to catch it 
But as I did so, 
Every step was a step deeper into you.
Trying to escape was useless.
As I have tried so many times before
I've run and run only to come back to the same spot
I want out of this circle
I want to run a different path 
I want to run to you
Into your arms
I'm falling for a hopeless dream
A dream I think I cannot live
Hanging on what little hope I have left
But wanting to throw it all away."
And with a heavy sigh, he slowly walked away.
