JERUSALEM AREA:

 

Israel Dulcimer Society has resumed Sunday (or occasionally Monday) night weekly sessions.  Dust off your dulcimer and join us. Thurs., April 22 at 20:30 - Laurie Ornstein  at "Kumkum" in Jerusalem - a program of traditional and contemporary folk music. "Kumkum" is situated in an alley just off Agron St., below the American Consulate...see sign on main street!  Entrance  - 40 NIS which includes soup and.....coffee/tea. A lovely warm and intimate venue!

SOUTHERN JAM

 

Friday, April 16th, around - at 11 AM in the picnic area opposite the Joe Alon Bedouin Museum

Take the road to Beersheva.  Travel south of Kiryat Gat on 40, pass a gas station at a red light. Get into the left lane and turn left onto 326 at the Dvira Junction. About 7 km. in on that road, you'll see a map of the Lahav Forest. Take the right fork and go up the hill to the Joe Alon Bedouin Center and park. Look for the stairs across from the center. Bring your instruments and a picnic lunch. For those investors who don't wish to sit on their assets, bring folding chairs.  For last minute updates and info phone Laurie at 064-464377
