Glutinous Rice Ball Stick

Glutinous Rice Flour 160g Oil 1 tbsp
Water 9 tbsp Fried White Sesame 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp Long toothpicks some

Dipping Sauce :
Chinese Slab Sugar 2 pcs Water 1/2 cup
Sugar 2 tbsp

1. Bring the water to boil, add slab sugar and sugar and melt over low heat into a syrup.
2. Put glutinous rice flour and oil into a deep bowl, pour in water a little a time.  Knead it into a soft dough.  Divide it into small portions and shape them into small balls.
3. Bring another pot of water to boil, add in glutinous rice balls and cook until floated and done.  Drain for later use.
4. Pin 2-3 glutinous rice balls with a toothpick.  Shallow-fry until both sides are slightly golden.
5. Mix fried white sesame and sugar up and sprinkle on the glutinous rice balls.  Pour dipping sauce on top and serve.

1. You can add a little more water if you feel the dough is not soft enough.
2. Fry white sesame over low heat and until golden brown.
