Crispy Squid Ring

Ingredients :
Squid450gPlain Flour55g

Marinade :
Salt1/3 tspPepper1/4 tsp
Lemon Juice1/4 tsp

Batter :
Self Raising Flour1/2 cupSpicy Salt1/4 tsp
Lemon Juice1/4 tsp

Method :
1.Remove tissue of squid, entrails and rinse.  Cut across with 1 cm width.
2.Mix up ingredients of batter for later use.
3.Blanch squid with a pot of hot boiling water,  turn off the fire and take out until it turns white.  Add in the marinade and mix well.  
4.Heat up some oil, dust the squid with plain flour then coat with batter, put inside the hot oil and fry until it goes brown. Serve hot.

 
Gist :
1.Squid won't be crispy if you don't scald it to remove excess water of itself.
2.It can goes with different kinds of sauce you like.
