Time control for all events is 40/90, SD 30 unless otherwise noted. Registration is from 7-730 on the first night of the event. Games are played on Wednesdays and start promptly at 7:30. The entry fee for all events is $10 unless otherwise noted. Please notify the event director if you cannot attend.

More tournament info:

1. Club Championship - all members are eligible
2. Brask Tournament - Games are G/15 or G/20. Players are not required to keep score, only track the number of moves. All other normal rules of chess apply. The winner and loser of each game receives points based on the number of moves in the game according to the following formula:
   • 20 moves or less: W - 14, L - 0
   • 21-25: 13 - 1
   • 26-30: 12 - 2
   • 31-35: 11 - 3
   • 36-40: 10 - 4
   • 41-45: 9 - 5
   • 46-50: 8 - 6
   • 51 or more: 7 each, game is declared a draw.
3. Brask Invitational/Memorial - This is a normal 5-rd Swiss open to all members, with the exception that those who qualify play for the prestigious Sven Brask Invitaional Championship trophy. All players who have won a tournament in the past year are eligible. If that does not produce at least 8 players, or produces and odd number of players, the players with the most Grand Prix points not already eligible will be seeded into the tournament as necessary to reach 8 or an even number. If possible this event will be held in 2 sections, the Invitational and the Memorial. If one section is needed, the player with the highest score wins the trophy (even if that player does not win the tournament). The highest scorer among non-eligible players will be awarded the Sven Brask Memorial plaque.
