My name is Bjørge Undheim, and I had my childhood in Undheim, Jæren, Norway. Jæren is on the south/western part of Norway. It is a flat farmer's area starting just south of all the famous fjords along the west coast.

Growing up I strangely enough got addicted to football. I say strangely as no other close family members had any interest at all.

I could kick the ball nearly the whole day. Trying to shoot the ball into the top corner of the goal gave me such a satisfaction that I was still dreaming of it while asleep. I had this hobby basically together with my nephew. He was even worse. English football was no.1. Even as small kids we listened to BBC live to get all the scores on Saturday afternoons. This made me develop a decent understanding for the English language very early, and that was very good.

Time flew by. I got older and finished primary school. The love of football started to fade away as I got more into motorcycles and so. In addition were we not enough players in my small region to field a team on our own, so I quit playing. I just displayed my brilliant technique for fun later, but moved later on to play for the local 2nd side and scored some cracking goals.

I even moved to Oslo to do some business study. I did not like it all in my first year, so I moved home again and did some part studies for a couple of years. I managed to finish though after an extremely hard 4th year where I did more than 1 1/2 year in one. At this time I even enjoyed living in Oslo. We were some people being together having really fun!

I made a mistake and moved back to Jæren, but never really settled down. After going through some  family problems I started a business on my own. That was some experience. I had a jolly good time working with football souvenirs and sports apparel, but I did not stand firm and got involved in other businesses and people. That was my destiny. I got too much in my head, and in the end I was left with nearly nothing, and in all this I had suddenly become 35 years old and we had reached year 2000!!!!

I made a drastic decision. I decided to move abroad. I wanted to experience new things! Life can't stop. I had a friend in London who helped me with accommodation in the beginning, and I had to get a job. As I spoke all the Scandinavian languages was it not too difficult. I got some temporary jobs here and there.

Suddenly I got a job offer from the Netherlands. It was within computering. I didn't know anything about computers except some surfing on the internet and some simple Word/Excel skills. It took me 45 minutes making my Hotmail account at the time, and I considered what to do. I accepted! Did not know anyone in the Netherlands, but grabbed the opportunity. It proved to be a correct choice

I made loads of friends and had a good time. My mind was on something completely different than it had for my last 10 years and I enjoyed life more and more. I worked in Utrecht (Maarssen) but decided to live in Rotterdam. That was a wise choice. I really enjoyed the city, and had a room in a nice area called Kralingen. I also did my first marathon in Rotterdam (as shown on picture)! I was completely exhausted afterwards, but when I finished  I was so glad. The words "You are a winner!" came inside of my head.

After watching around 50 different football stadiums around in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France it was time to move back to England and London (November 2002). I was a bit unsure, but I did not want to spend my whole time abroad in the same country. In addition, did I have many good friends and a church I love in London.

December 2004 did I move back to Norway again. For how long I do not know. I only know it is a time to heal earlier wounds. I know when this is finished a new adventure will follow. What and where I do not know yet, but I do know that in the hand of God the best is always yet to come!
