The best picnic that we've ever had was the one at Talegaon at Manas' place. We were there for only a day or two but we made most of it. Unfortunately I have no photographs of that wonderful picnic. If any one has those snaps scanned or otherwise please send them to me. I still remember walking topless in talegaon, more than 20 of us and Manas was pleading that the people there know him and that was not the way to behave....But do we know how to behave? None of the girls were there and that made it all the more better. All of us were at our vulgar best...
This one was on Valentine's Day and at Gorai beeeech ( beach yaar)..Salient features of this picnic were rugby in the water and all the ladies after Ajay's shirt which eventually tore....Surely was a wonderful experience for all those who were there and too bad for all those who missed.
This is unforgettable too cause I was the host. I had called my uncle and told him that we were around 15-20 . Later on the station some 27-30 people turned up. My uncle had sent a few cars to the station to pick us up and aunty had arranged for food for 15 people. What a mob. But then we were entertained by Zau, Viddesh and bhau's chakda chakda logic and the other chakda antics. Also did we differentiate between the chakda and the rickshaw and what not. The best moment was when a few got drunk at night and entertained everyone. We all know who it was. Oops really unforgettable.
Aha what a walk. Just after the seventh semester exams we decided that we should goto matheran for a walk. What nonsense re...And believe it or not we decided in one evening that we are leaving at 12:00 am or something and are walking up to Matheran early morning. Insane totally insane. See what engineering and exams do to some people. But to tell u we had a ball walking, trying to meet ghosts and spirits in the woods and also trying to call them. Planchet with 20 people sitting around a table...u bet engineers are not practical people....Those fundoo walks are still afresh in memory and so are the talks at night....That was dhamaal pure dhamaal.
We were just seven of us, five guys and two girls. The second picnic of the semester and that too within 15 days of the first one. Enjoy and that is all that we've done this sem. Off to Alibaug to admire the scenic beauty of nature and it was time to introspect. We had the time of our life at Alibaug. Here are some fantastic snaps from that experience.
