Evolution portrays a vast floating halo, in which we are all stranded astronauts. They say that we are not in the present at all, but a microsecond behind it, since time must elapse before anything can reach our senses. We are all displaced persons, missing in action, presumed dead on arrival. We have contorted the equilibrium of the space-time continuum to its maximum state of delirium, and now begins the pandemonium. A series of cataclysms taking place in a vacuum on a misunderstood plane of horrifying astrology. A sequence of numbers occurring in a random state of time dilation. Cosmic forces on hiatus, returning to the inflection point at the top of the hour in year zero. The universe is an empty carcass, picked clean by anti-gravitational scavengers. All that remains now lies on the other side of the black hole, in the interstellar digestive system.
