Why you joined or are still in the sorority:  I initially joined the sorority, because most of my closest friends were sisters, and their excitement for the sorority rubbed off on me.  I also desired to be part of an organization at Georgetown whose members had my similar interests and beliefs.  While other organizations at Georgetown such as the International Relations Club were helping me meet this need, these clubs were just missing something.  Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority is unique in that it is an organization of women, and it is for life; when I graduate from Georgetown, I know that I will have a close network of friends that I can depend on for years to come.  Now that I am a sister, my enthusiasm for the sorority has only grown.  It is thrilling to know that I am helping to shape the future of one of Georgetown's traditions, and I truly admire the other sisters that I have come to know through my participation in the sorority.  In light of our current membership, I know that Delta Phi Epsilon will only grow in its success.
