HETERO COUPLES ~~~INCLUDING MARRIAGE~~~
As of May 17, 2004, Massachusetts is now allowing Gay and Lesbians to join in marriage.
All requirements to do so are supposed to be equal but they are not.
Gov. Romney reinforced a law, once used to prohibit interracial couples to marry in the state of Massachusetts back in 1913, now prohibits out-of-state same-sex couples to marry in the state of Massachusetts in 2004.
There are no residency requirements for out-of-state hetero couples to join in marriage in the state of Massachusetts.
I believe the Government is trying to keep the peace by passing the laws to allow Gay and Lesbians to join in marriage--BUT--are trying every way possible to still have their way by denying marriage licenses to non-residents of the state.
STOP DISCRIMINATION AGAINST GAY AND LESBIANS...PASS THE LAWS!!!!
