1. Tifa:
To Aerith, Tifa can be seen as a competition to win over Cloud's attention. Although it is not evident in the games, Aerith does make some overt gesture in which draws attention to herself whenever Tifa is around. In any case, Aerith and Tifa are friend regardless of the love triangle. After, no boy is worth fighting over, right? ^_~

2. Vincent:
No relationship, Vincent is an optional character in the game and his character's story line does not involve Aerith.

3. Rufus:
What about him? Other than meeting Aerith for the first in time, in his first battle, Rufus's relationship to Aerith is nothing simpler that a case of Villain who got his henchmen to kidnap Aerith for some nefarious schemes… Cheesy eh?

4. Barrett:
Nothing beyond platonic. Barrett entrusted his step-daughter to Aerith before taking on ShinRa and the Turks.

5. Yuffie:
No relationship, other than the ones conceived by other horny artists... Shojo-ai ::sighs:: Yuffie is another optional character in the game and her character development does not involved Aerith.

6. RedXIII:
Aerith first met RedXIII in a test tube meant for some interspecies breeding. Hojo wanted to create a specimen that would last the project's life span.

7. Sephiroth:
Aerith's tie to Sephiroth is a very simple yet complex relationship. I will (eventually) analyze the concept of Light and Dark in which both character assumes.

8. Hojo:
Was after her biological mother and Aerith for quite some time for the purpose of Research. Hojo wanted to continue Ghast's research.... Not all scientist are mad! ^_^

9. Cid:
No relationship. If there were any, it would be purely platonic.

10. Cait Sath:
No relationship. Reese has no feeling for Aerith.

11. Ghast:
