From back in the day when they would still wear matching sweaters.

These are my moments. My teenybopper moments. Times when I've done something and later regretted it for the stupidity it holds.

1. In January 1999 [Don't ask how I remember that] I "married" Nick online. You know at one of those sites where you can "marry" whoever you want and you get a nifty certificate and stuff. Yeah. I brought it to school the next day and showed all my teeny bopper friends. They all thought it was very cool. [Oh, and for the record, Kristen married JC, Katie married Lance, and Katherine married AJ.]

2. Kristen and I spent Spring Break in '99 on the internet voting on all of these weird polls to prove to one another who was the better guy. I was for Nick, she was for JC. Click here to see the poll that I made. It's quite... scary.

3. I was friends with Katherine, the biggest AJ fan in the world, and I like to think of her as a cult leader or something. See, she started my obsession. It's all her fault!! :::Shakes fist and wipes eyes::: Seriously. She got me into BSB. If it wasn't for her, I might have never even liked BSB. Whoa, that's a weird thought.

4. Katherine, among other things, convinced me that when All I Have To Give retired off TRL, not to watch it until their new video premired. I did as told.

5. I was in the "You can only like one band/NSYNC is the devil" stage for a while. This happened to fall around my first NSYNC concert. I went anyway and had a great time but convinced myself that I didn't want to go. I can remember my convo with Katherine when I got back the next day:
Kathleen: [Very Justin obsessive] So like how was the concert?
Katherine: Oh. Yeah. How was it? ::evil look::
Me: Um... actually it wasn't that bad. OMG, Justin took off his shirt!
Katherine: Gross!
Kathleen: I don't believe it! That is so not fair!
It's the little things that amuse you when you're 12.

6. I bought the first Britney Spears cd when it first came out. I used to think she was the coolest thing in the world. But then I went through a stage where I hated her and gave away my cd. About a month later, I bought it again. Crazy.

7. I own 4 BSB cds and 1 single: The US debut, the European debut, Millenium, Black & Blue, and the AIHTG single. I own 2 NSYNC cds and 1 single: The US debut, NSA and the I Want You Back single.

8. I have BSB's Backstage Pass book, The Heart And Soul Of Nick Carter [stop laughing], the All Access video, the 2000 calendar, the 2001 calander, one of those little cards with the calenders on the back for both BSB and NSYNC, both BSB & NSYNC/Britney's Burger King/McDonalds videos, all of BSB's Burger King action figures, and 13 full tapes [with another in the making) of TV appearances.

9. I have bought more than one teenybopper magazine. One was for the posters, one for the hilarious interview. ::sigh::

10. I taped MTV's Do What? Weekend and learned all of the dances. It was a little too much fun actually.

11. I cried when I didn't get BSB tickets in August '99. And 2 weeks before the concert, Katie and I had an uncontrollable urge to go so we called every freaking number in the classifieds to find tickets. We did finally get them for $75 each. Thanks Todd!!!

12. I made up animals for each of the BSB. [See this] If you thought it took about 2 minutes to do, you're wrong. It really was a process of deep thought that took about a month of careful consideration before it was decided.

13. I cried when BSB lost their Grammy in '99 to Lauryn Hill. From then on I hated her.

14. I almost threw the remote at the tv for the 2000 Grammy's. Santana was really pissing me off. And that shot of BSB they showed right before Album Of The Year gave me the shivers. They looked like they were gonna cry.

15. The other day [7/4/00] I was watching the Zoog Disney Concert Countdown and got mad when BSB was #2. I watched the whole concert again, although I have seen it more times than should be funny. Then got mad that NSYNC was #1 again and got even more mad when they played Bye Bye Bye and It's Gonna Be Me in-between. Of course, that all changed when I ::hangs head and takes deep breath:: got up and.... learned the dance to IGBM. That's right, I can now dance along to the chorus part. Don't I feel special. Not really. And to make it worse, when I went to bed, I put on IGBM and did the dance. I was happy. The next day I called myself a loser.

16. I have at least one cd from all of the Blonde singers from Florida. I have Christina's, both of Jessica's, both of Britney's, two of Mandy's, and even Willa's. I know. I know.

17. My friend Betsy and I have really made fools of ourselves more than once in this one music store at the mall. I'll give you an example. We went in, all seemed normal, and were checking out the cds. Betsy sees Blaque [this was when Bring It All To Me or whatever was out] so she goes "Hey, don't they sing that song where JC says he has thug appeal?" Now, since I am the genius of us two, I answer with "Yeah. He's got thug appeal." How could I have been so stupid? I look up, realizing what I just said to see a guy standing there holding a cd, looking at me. He gave me a very strange look and we were outta there. It was very embarassing.

18. At my first NSYNC concert, Kristen and I changed the chant for NSYNC! to JC! Cause... it worked. Try it sometime.

19. I have names for some of my clothes. I have a Britney Spears shirt, a Christina Aguilera shirt, Christina Aguilera pants, and Jennifer Lopez shoes. And everyone else calls them that too. It's very weird: "Oh, you're wearing your Britney shirt!"

20. I talk to my tv when BSB doesn't win an award. Like I'll say "Damnit! No not NSYNC! I hate this!" or something like that.

21. I dressed up as Britney Spears for Halloween. I couldn't think of anything else and it was easy. I went on a quest for pink fuzzy things at the mall but couldn't find any. I bought knee socks too. It was worth it. I got more candy than everybody else [Ask Kristen!] like they'd give them a few peices and I'd get a handful. Haha. I also got a lot of strange "What are you supposed to be?" and when I told them, worried looks crossed their faces. And these guys started singing Crazy when I walked up their driveway and telling me they liked my costume. My brother was like "You are not dressing up as Britney Spears!" Haha. And this one girl was like "Ohmygod! Britney Spears right? That is like so cool!" I think you should know that she was like 25 and holding an NSYNC book. It was wrong. The only bad thing was everyone thought I did it as a fan thing, but it was a joke. Oh well.

22. I visit Backstreet.net everyday. Pitiful? Yeah. It's like that I feel the need to know the newest news. It's sad. Oh and the NSYNC message board? Once a week. I dunno why, it's not like BSB are more interesting...

23. BSB's new single, Shape Of My Heart was supposed to debut at 11:21 last Tuesday and I wanted to hear it. So... I waited by the radio for at least 3 hours to hear this damn song. See, the DJ kept saying "We'll play it as soon as we get it, really." Uh huh. Well, I had school the next day so around 12:15 I said "Screw it", put a tape in and set the radio to turn off in an hour. I woke up the next morning, rewound and heard it. It was worth it, but the next day everytime I turned on the radio it was on. That's how it goes, isn't it?

24. The Wednesday after Black and Blue was released I was nervous all day. Why? Soundscan numbers are released that day. So I get home and find out from John Norris that they didn't break NSYNC's record. Not like records should really matter, but you know how it is. Anyway, I find out this news and I said some things. I got mad. I don't know why, I guess the teenybopper in me took over.

25. The 4 days Shape Of My Heart has't been #1 on TRL, I've gotten mad. The many days This I Promise You has slipped to #3, I laughed. I am so messed up.

26. The day Black & Blue came out, I wore black and blue. But it was done so subtely. I was gonna wear my black pants and blue top, but then I figured I'd get a lot of "Are you a BSB fan?" questions so I stuck to jeans and a black shirt. Hey, don't pretend you didn't do it too.

27. When BSB got the AMA, I clapped. Yes, I was all alone in my living room, clapping. I mean, I could've sworn it was gonna go to NSYNC.

28. I'm starting to think Nick is hot again. Ok, so it isn't really a new thing... ever since he cut his hair, it's been my little secret. ::sigh::

29. I went all out for the BSB concert. Black and blue nailpolish, black pants, blue sweater, blue eye shadow, black mascara [well that wasn't for the concert... but it fit], ect. I even wore a necklace with a heart on it. Cause, it represented the shape of my heart. LMAO.

30. Carson Daly has a radio show on one of the pop stations here at 11:00 on weeknights. Anyway, I was listening to it one night, half asleep when my eyes suddenly popped open. Why was this? More Than That had come on. And it was the first time I'd heard that song on the radio. It was such an exciting moment.

31. So I heard about the 6 issues of TV Guides with BSB on them. I then went to every store in the mall trying to find them. Know how many I got? 5. I didn't get Kevin. No one had Kevin. Damn. Do you know how much of a teenybopper I felt like going to every store looking for these? A big one.
