Fast Food Anyone?

I went. I ate. Now read my thoughts.

McDonalds:
You know, I never actually went to McDonalds. My mom went during her lunch break like 2 weeks after the thing started. You might not find this funny, but it is when you see what happened with BSB.

The CD: I didn't buy it. What can I say, I'm cheap? But I did download the new songs off Napster. And I'm a fan of NSYNC's Are You Gonna Be There and If I'm Not The One. Britney's Girl In The Mirror is good, but Heart sucked. And the other stuff on the cd [cause I saw a track listing] wasn't downloadable. Just some remixes I hear on the radio anyway.

The Video: Um... yeah. Ok, so it's $4.99 and it's 30 minutes long. No. I found it quite amusing how I had seen all of the NSYNC "Never before seen footage!" on Much Music. Uh huh. I discovered after seeing this that NSYNC is way too obsessed with the dirty pop thing. "It's our idea, and people are already using it. So just remember, we did it first!" Justin said that. First of all, who has used it? Everyone's album came out before theirs. Um... Right. I didn't need the Bye, Bye, Bye video or the performance of This I Promise You from the @ MTV thing cause I've seen them enough already. I wasn't impressed with the NSYNC portion of the video.

I enjoyed having the Britney video for Oops!... I Did It Again because it helped me learn the dance. I'm sure that sounds really stupid, but I wanted to learn it man. I also liked having the video for Born To Make You Happy which was only released in Europe, because I enjoyed watching it. I liked her hair and make up in the video. I found the dance scence hilarious though... If you've seen it you'd understand. That song should've been released here instead of From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart. I thought that the Britney footage was good cause it showed how down-to-earth she is. I liked how they showed her going to TRL and all. That was cool. Her "mooning" NYC though? No. To sum this up, I enjoyed the Britney section but the NSYNC section was stupid. If I hadn't seen all the footage before I probably would've liked it more.

Burger King:
I went there the day the promo started. I told it would be different than the McDonalds thing. I got each of the action figures... I guess it helped that my mom works across the street from a Burger King. But anyway...

The CD: Once again, I was too cheap to buy it. I downloaded It's True and wasn't impressed. I'm not really a fan of the live cds anyway, so I didn't even bother.

The Video: It was $2.99 and 45 minutes long. That's a deal to me. Oh yeah. I found the video very good, I liked reliving the Millenium Tour, plus they had different outfits from when I saw them, so it was a new experience. The end part with the going to Burger King and all was so planned but very cute. And when Brian made his whopper talk... Oh my. I enjoyed the end part with the song, that was so funny. I think the best part was the "Why can't I get a slab of cheese?" thing. I mean, a slab of cheese?? Hahaha. No one talks like that, it just sounds... Weird. I laughed for a long time about the video, but I really enjoyed it. I think BSB got a better deal with BK, the video was good and cheap and everything else was decent. NSYNC's was just eh. Anyway, that's what I think of the video, it's good and if you didn't buy one, you might wanna, cause it's pretty humorous and informative too.

The Action Figures: Yes, I went once a week to get all of them. But believe me, it was so worth it. They are now arranged in a typical boy band V on a table downstairs. My mom did that. I put them in the order I got them... Oh yeah, the pictures are taken from Where We Resign.

Brian
Have you seen this boy's muscles? Goodness. There is no way he looks like that, I laughed for so long after seeing the size of his arms... He has this launcher thing so he can like "leap small buildings in a single bound," but it's more like so he can fall over. He doesn't jump.
Conclusion: White men can't jump.

Howie
Um, he has a dress. Well, supposivly it's a magic "cloak" or something, but it sure looks like a dress to me. And he has this amulet thing that lights up, my mom found that most amusing. His ponytail is huge, it's like the size of his head... I guess they wanted everything to be realistic. Haha. I dunno, he pretty much looks like Howie, he doesn't have giant muscles or something, he just has a giant ponytail.
Conclusion: Glowing amulets are way too much fun when you're bored.

Kevin
When I first got him, I thought he was in a coffin. But supposivly it's a crylogenic freezing chamber or something. Whatever. So you put him in there, push a button and he pops out. It is the funniest thing. I swear I jumped when we first assembled him and he popped out... Woo. And he looks like Elvis. I don't know if he's trying to bring back the Elvis look or something, but it's not working. His bangs or whatever stick out like an inch. It's scary.
Conclusion: Popping out of a coffin is what you get for being the "older member" of the group.

Nick
Oh my. I think he looks like a warrior, with his helmate and sword thingy. He has this scary ponytail that's waaay too yellow to be anyone's hair, thus it looks like a feather. The twirling thing? Right. It took me long enough to figure out how to twirl the damn thing. Plus it makes him look like he can't stand up straight. Not a good thing when you fall over on your stand. Nope.
Conclusion: Trying to act tough and look like a warrior makes you really look like a Barbie.

AJ
Ahh yes. He's the only one who actually looks like what he's supposed to be. Himself. He has a cowboy hat and this giant cape thing, I don't really know what for but ok. He even has sunglasses and a little goatee thingy...hehe. He swings around a poll, I call it the stripper poll. It looks like one after all. He reminds me of like Indiana Jones or something... I dunno.
Conclusion: Sometimes being the crazy one makes you the most normal.

I love it when I hear you say, you have it your way!
