NSYNC's Pop Odyssey Tour

NSYNC sure can put on a show.

Monday, July 13, 2001. 7:30 PM. RFK Stadium, Washington, DC.

I wasn't even gonna go to this concert. Reason being that my concert buddies were either out of town or didn't want to. I didn't really have an urge to go so I was fine with the whole thing. However, the morning of the concert, I was informed that we had tickets. It turns out that my brother's ex-girlfriend had won tickets on the radio and already had tickets so decided to give them to us. After much debate [See here for a longer story.] we decided to go. And I'm glad we did.

Since the concert was so long ago, I don't really remember details. But there are a few things that stick out in my mind and I'm listing them here:

*At the end, when they pop out of those trap doors during The Game Is Over, Justin got stuck. ::snicker:: Nobody really seemed to notice, but the other 4 guys popped out and Justin's door opened, but there was no Justin. A minute later, we saw him crawling out. Hehehe.

*Either their tour manager or one of their roadies proposed during our show. He pulled his girlfriend up out of the crowd and NSYNC made this big deal about how hard the guy works and all. And then the guy proposed and NSYNC dedicated Something Like You to them after she said yes. So touching.

*Justin has a sweating problem. I realized this last time we saw them live, but it's really gross.

*During one of those many skits [Which were hilarious by the way], Lance said "Shucks! and I couldn't stop laughing.

*At one point, JC was wearing a pink suit. And later he wore pants with tulips on them. TULIPS! His outfits made BSB's pink suits look masculine.

*The award for cutest choreography goes to: The Two Of Us. Awesome.

*What song was it where they were on bouncy balls and playing with toys? ::thinks:: I think it was Up Against The Wall, but I'm not sure. I liked that.

That's all I can remember. The show was awesome and I'm happy that we went. I wrote a little bit more in my journal here if you care.

You see I toss and turn when I'm alone...
