For as long as I can remember, people have assumed that Justin and Britney are dating. Well, I am here to bring you the truth. How'd I find out the truth? I have my sources. So here you go, you're about to find out what you've always wanted to know but have never been able to find out. Until now. Aren't you excited?

Clue #1:
The amount of time Britney spends with NSYNC. She toured with them, performs with them at shows, plus there are so many pictures of her and NSYNC. Just look:

Ooh, she's making Justin jealous. Tsk, tsk...

Clue #2:
They always say nice things about each other. For example, they won the "Dream Duet" in Teen People and had this to say:
Justin: "That would be fun! She is very sweet."
Britney: "It would be a treat to do a duet."
Uh huh...

Clue #3:

Now let me think. She's 5 years older than him. She dislikes lies yet is dating a cheater. Hmmm. Could the fact that she has a tattoo and her belly pierced have influenced Ms. Britney to do the same? I'm thinking yes. Maybe because she was thinking that Justin would like her more then. You know ever since I found this out everytime I see a picture of Justin or hear their song on the radio I say to myself "cheater" and laugh. I dunno why, I'm weird like that.

Clue #4:
For any of you who listened to Nick's broadcast at that Florida station already know this. Maybe. Otherwise, here's what happened. [I got a clip off Backstreet.net] Nick got Britney's cell phone number. So he decides to give her a call. Click here to hear it. Or, download it on Napster under "Nick Carter: Prank Call On Britney Spears." It's one of the funniest things that I've ever heard? Now unless Britney is somehow dating another "Justin" [Which is highly unlikely], I believe this is The Sponge himself. I wouldn't of believed it was Justin except for the fact that 1) He sounded like him and 2)Britney repeatly said "Justin, who is it? Justin how'd they get my number?" in the background. Ah, let the stories come out now. They've been hiding it for so long that they just couldn't keep it in any longer. Actually they could, but thanks to Nick we all know the truth. So Nick, you're cool. ::evil grin::

Clue #5:

They're shopping. Now by looking at Justin's 'fro I can tell that this is a recent picture. Maybe she just wanted his opinion on what belly shirt to buy, but it looks suspicious to me.

Now we may be going out on a limb here, but in light of Britney Spears' recent public acknowledgement of her relationship with *NSYNC's Justin Timberlake in the current issue of Rolling Stone magazine (much to the chagrin of her people, no doubt), we were wondering if there may be a secret message to the teen heartthrob in the liner notes to Spears' new album, Oops! ... I Did It Again.

Timberlake isn't thanked anywhere in the liner notes, but the last message -- addressed to no one in particular -- says the following: "And lastly, as I sit here twisting my hair -- wishing it was yours! -- thinking of if there is a way to thank you for all the lifts, smiles, and surprise visits -- you will be a part of my heart and soul ALWAYS!" Oops! I think she's done it again!

Really. Didn't read the Rolling Stone article. They don't have it all online and well, I'm cheap.

Clue #7:
Someone on the N The Mix Message Board posted this encounter of the two:
Today [Monday the 22nd] my brother's friend came in to my room and took me to the Blockbuster video that he works at and showed me a surveilence tape...and I thought nothing of it.A guy and a girl looking for a video! Then he gets closer and it was Britney and Justin!!!

Clue #8:
I found this when I was catching up on my gossip at Star Magazine Online. And there's a picture too!

And while Britney's eye-popping outfit got all the guys' attention, her baby blues were riveted on main squeeze Justin Timberlake of the hot teenybopper group 'NSYNC, sources tell STAR.

Clue #9:
A review of her cd states:
Spears does, however, boast her songwriting debut on this sophomore album with Dear Diary, a decent and admittedly autobiographical lovesick ballad in which she professes her love for a boy, perhaps on-again off-again beau Justin Timberlake of the pop supergroup *NSYNC.

Clue #10:
This picture of Britney at an NSYNC concert. She's with her sister and friends but they're going to the concert. [Check out the backstage pass around her neck] My sources tell me she was with Justin. Ahem.

Clue #11:
Also in Britney's thank you's, she had this to say:

"To Theresa Page - thanks for working out those last minute, unexpected flights all over!"

I started thinking and realized that I've read that before. And then it hit me! I opened NSA to Justin's thank you's and I find this:

"Ibe and our Tour Management Staff, especially Fritz and SiSi for getting me those last minute one day flights (y'all know what I am talking about)."

So it's a bit obvious that since they both talk about "last minute flights" that they're to see each other. And I'm sure we've all heard the story about Britney ditching her concert to go somewhere with Justin. ::Sigh::

Clue #12:
This came out of a review for NSYNC's concert:
...Unlike, say, Britney [Who happened to be in the audience, on a platformed couch behind the midcrowd soundboard, providing some home-state support to boyfriend Justin Timberlake and crew]...

Clue #13:
This just shows how much time they spend together:
From my friend who went to the Britney Spears Merriweather show in Baltimore... Brit had cornrows into a long ponytail and had a "what would you do to meet Britney" segment where none other than, NSYNC, popped up on the screen telling the contestants what to do. Suprise suprise. lol.

Clue #14:
Everyone knows about NSYNC's movie, but here are two articles about it that I found very interesting:
#1: Britney in *NSYNC movie
Britney Spears is teaming up with her rumoured boyfriend and his group for a pop film extravaganza.
While *NSYNC was promoting their upcoming film during the Cannes Film fest last month, group member Lance Bass let a secret slip, New York magazine reports.
According to a movie insider, Lance claimed that *NSYNC's movie will be like "The Bodyguard" and Whitney Houston's character will be played by none other than the princess of pop. Britney has been linked to several movies this year although each rumour was denied by her camp (i.e. roles in "Dirty Dancing" and "Grease"), but joining *NSYNC's movie venture would mean being closer to her rumoured boyfriend, *NSYNC's Justin Timberlake.
Britney is an old friend of *NSYNC. She toured with the group when she was kick-starting her solo career and spent her young years in "The Mickey Mouse Club" with *NSYNC's J.C. Chasez and Justin.
The five Orlando boys who make up *NSYNC wouldn't reveal too many details about their movie although they did say they won't be making a version of "Spice World" (the 1997 film about the Spice Girls) and that they will be acting, not playing themselves.
The *NSYNC movie is expected to begin filming in 2001 and in April, Lance told Allstar what fans could look forward too and even hinted at the Spears factor. "It's gonna be a huge, huge movie and we got some major, major people in it," he said. "We're the five stars of it with another person that you're gonna know very well."

#2: BRITNEY TO STAR IN DEBUT FILM WITH REAL LIFE BOYFRIEND
Britney Spears will make her film debut alongside her boyfriend Justin Timberlake from NSYNC.
The film, which is said to be similar to The Bodyguard in which diva Whitney Houston starred with Kevin Costner, will also star all the other boys from NSYNC. Producers are hoping that the pairing of the princess of teen pop with the phenomenally popular boy band will secure a hit and that the on screen chemistry between Britney and Justin will be a match for the legendary pairing of Bogart and Bacall.
Despite rumours that Britney's film debut would be in a sequel to either Grease or Dirty Dancing, NSYNC's Lance Bass siad, "It's going to be like The Bodyguard with Britney as a character similar to Whitney Houston's."

I know they basically say the same thing, but there was different info and I felt you should see both. Imagine the pleasure of getting Britney and Justin in the same movie! Oh the fun.

L O N D O N, July 9 — Sizzling pop sensation Britney Spears, according to a published report, will be getting hitched with another sexy singer — NSYNC's Justin Timberlake.

The News of the World, Britain’s biggest selling tabloid, quoted a friend close to the couple as saying Timberlake, 19, proposed to the chart-topping Spears two weeks ago in New York.

“They were in a cafe, having a coffee when Justin pulled out this ring — Britney was speechless,” the source told the newspaper.

If true, the eye-popping engagement would break the hearts of teen-agers — and some adults — around the world.

“They haven’t set a date for the big day,” the source said to the newspaper. “They’re just taking things very slowly. The engagement is a very private matter to them.

“I don’t think they’ve even told their parents.”

Spears, 18, has sold millions of records around the globe with her youthful energy and catchy dance tunes.

Known Each Other Since ’93

Spears and Timberlake have known each other for a long time — appearing together on The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993.

The paper said the pair have been dating on and off since November 1998.

“It’s all very exciting,” the source said to the newspaper. “They may only be teen-agers, but they haven’t got any money problems.”

The British media have linked the blonde-haired singer with a number of celebrities, including Britain’s Prince William.

Why would he be at a Britney concert? And then there's that thing up there about Britney at a NSYNC concert. Uh huh...

Clue #17:
Someone sent this to me, but they want to remain anonymous so they will. I would give them credit cuz this is good info, but that's ok. Here it is.

If you look at a picture of both Britney and Justin you would notice that they both wear the same rings on opposite hands that connect when they hold hands. They both usually wear it on there pinky fingers but they are known to change the rings to different fingers just to throw people off. If you have a poster of Justin when he is sitting on the floor without any shoes you can see the ring and for Britney if you look at the "Crazy" video you can really see it there. But they are always wearing it. I heard that the rings are promise to each other since the ending of the MMC. They haven't taken them off since.

I saw Justin's ring in a picture of him in a magazine. Haven't looked for Britney's yet.

Clue #18:
Crew Plays Practical Joke On Britney Spears
(7/13) from Launch: "Britney Spears may not be engaged to 'N Sync singer Justin Timberlake, but that didn't stop the teen queen's crew from playing a practical joke on her at her concert at Detroit's Pine Knob Music Theatre on Sunday (July 9)--the very same day British tabloid reports about the rumored engagement started surfacing. Sources in Spears's camp tell LAUNCH that as the 18-year-old singer was on stage performing live in front of the sold-out crowd, her crew decorated her tour bus by tying cans to strings and attaching them to the rear end, topping it all off with a "JUST MARRIED" sign! Timberlake was at the Detroit shows, but there's no word on whether or not he knew of the crew's prank. . After Spears's Detroit performance, she took a five-day break and is currently hanging out with Timberlake and other 'N Sync members, according to the same sources. I dunno about you, but the fact that both of them constantly go to each other's shows makes me wonder a little bit.

Clue #19:
I found this at a message board. Another thing that makes me wonder.

Okay I was just downstairs and my sister was watching tv, and it was channel 5 Fox news at 10. Well there was a section where they updated on hot music acts and they had this mini interview with Johnny Wright, and then they showed NSYNC and Britney's some footage of their concerts. Well turns out they showed a backstage scene and guess who was on the couch in the green room sitting right near Justin...you guessed it. BRIT AGAIN!!!!! Ughhhhh. This was at an NSYNC show. God she always tags along with them. Hahahahah can't they just admit it? I mean it was so obvious they were both on this couch in the back and lance was doing hacky and I saw all the bikes, ect that they have in those back rooms, well my god Brit and Justin looked like they were getting cozy on that damn couch. Uuuuuuurrrrrrgggaaaaa....::sighs:: I just thought I would tell yall cuz I was like dude I have to watch this segment. I am now like ughhh not again!!!! I just though that was kinda interesting too just had to tell ya.

Found this in an article. Kinda interesting.

"I laughed when I heard [the rumors]," he says. "If I was really seriously thinking about getting engaged to anyone, nobody would know about it."

Clue #21:
This is almost the best one yet. It's funny.

Justin Timberlake arrived via a secret entrance in the back with his pop-star "friend" Britney Spears. (By the way, observers tell me Britney looked horrendous without makeup, with a complexion that would make Cam Diaz look as clear as Calista Flockhart's desire not to eat.)

Brit and Just came an hour after the rest of the band showed up, and you can use your imagination as to what they were up to before that. At the club, the couple continued displaying their affection for each other until MTV veejay Thalia entered the perky picture.

"She totally had her eyes on Justin," said an eyewitness. "She was an 'N Sync [rhymes with strut], and to put it mildly, Britney was not happy."

This was supposed to be a picture of Justin and Britney kissing, but the site closed before I had a chance to save it. It would've been the final clue anyway. The reason for that is below.

So there you have it. My clues so far as to why the two are dating. If you have any proof that you would like to send me, I will put it up. I'm determined to prove this.

And it looks like I did. Incase you live under a rock, or you just don't have an annoying radio station who repeats the same information over and over and over, I'll inform you of why. Britney... Made it offical. Her and Justin are "dating." I have mixed feelings about it too. I mean, I'm happy that they're finally out of the dark with it, but it kinda made me sad. Why? Because doing this section was fun, I'm gonna miss it. I enjoyed reading my mail to find proof someone had found, it brightened my day. I guess the VMA's were kinda their coming out day... Britney Spears makes a bubbly confession this month in an interview with Elle magazine: The pop princess confirms that she and fellow ex-Mousketeer Justin Timberlake are involved. "When you're really comfortable with someone you love, the silence is the best. And that's how me and J are. When we're in a room we don't have to say anything. It's for real."

So I guess all I have to say about this is... Will NSYNC lose fans? A part of me hopes they do, and I know that's a terrible thing to say, but...well, I think it's cuz I'm a BSB fan. See, when Brian and Kevin announced the engagements, they lost fans. So, I figure NSYNC should lose some, because it's only fair. Since Justin is the popular one and without him there'd be no Nsync, hell, there would just be SYNC... He is the N. And a gigantic one he is. Oh, yeah, inside joke there. Anyway, I read the results to a poll where NSYNC fans said that if Justin and Britney were dating, they'd stop liking them. So, will it happen??? Most NSYNC fans hate Britney anyway, so will she lose fans? Will Britney and Justin become the unpopular ones? I guess we'll just have to see.
