Trout, daughter of the late Samuel Forscht, Aged 78 Years, 8 Months and 11 Days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery.

      Apr 14 1919 York Gazette Page 2. Farcht - On April 12 1919 at 6 PM at his residence in Manchester Borough. John Farcht, Aged 91 years 3 months and 21 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Wednesday. Short services at the house at 10 o'clock, Proced to Union Church Manchester were services will be held. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

      17 Apr 1919 York Gazette County news listed under Manchester. Mancherster April 16 The Funeral of John Farcht, oldest resident of the borough, veteran of the civil war and retired railroad worker, who died last Sunday was held this morning at 10 AM from his house. Services were conducted in the Union Church be Rev. Abraham Hess of Mt. Joy Lancaster County and Rev. Mr. Leihman of Druck Valley. Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church. The pallbarers were Albert Altland, John Cockly, W.S. Schroll and Samuel Schroll Senior.

Strak and son funeral parlor, Princess and George Sts. Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment at Prospect Hill. (Also noted in the funeral anouncment was that he was an elder of the Trinity Reformed church of York).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, leaving the house at 10:30 AM. Proceed to the Union church, Manchester, were services will be held. Internment in Union Cemetery.

      Nov. 24 1922 York Gazette. Forscht - On November 23, 1922 at 3 PM, Rev. A. C. Forscht at his residence 923 West College Ave. aged 64 years 6 months and 8 days. Due notice of funeral will be given.

      February 11 1950 York Gazette. Mrs. Elizabeth Fife, 70 of 940 East Princess St, died at 9 am yesterday in Columbia Hospital after several years of illness. She was the widow of Harry Fife and daughter of William and Elizabeth Stauffer Forscht. Her survivors are 3 children, Miss Esther E. Fife, Mrs. Edwin Innerst and Thurman H. Fife, all at home, a granddaughter, Mrs. Paul Landis, 341 south Queen St. and a brother George Forscht of Hellam R.D. 1. She was a member of the Sunday school of fourth EUB church and its women's missionary society. Rev. Edward W. Leach her pastor will officiate at funeral services Monday at 2 PM at Etzweiler Funeral Home. 1111 East Market St. Burrial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.

Farcht, 81, of 121 Maple St. Died yesterday at 7 AM at York Hospital, were he was a patient about 3 weeks. He was the Husband of the late Mrs. Daisy Hake Farcht. Mr. Farcht was born near here and was a life long resident of the area. He is survived by two children, Thomas E. Farcht, here, and Mrs. Charles Smith, York, and two grandchildren. Rev. Bruce F. Knisley, Albright EUB church pastor, will officiate at the funeral Monday at 2 PM at the Diehl Funeral Home, Mt. Wolf. Burrial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery.

She was a member of Grace Brethern EUB church and class 5 of the Sunday School. She is survived by a son, Charles E. Farcht, 29 Columbia Ave. 3 Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren. Rev. A.C. Ruth, pastor of the church, will officiate at funeral services at the Edward W. Baumeister Colonial Mortuary, South Queen and Jackson Sts. Friday at 10 AM. Burial will be in Manchester Union cemetery.

Forscht, aged 72 years 5 months and 29 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at 2 PM Saturday at Carl H. Shaffer funeral home, 220 East Springetsberry Ave. Interment in Highmont cemetery. Friends may call at the Shaffer funeral home from 7 to 9 PM Friday.

      13 Nov. 1973 York Gazette County Obituaries John J. Farcht Joseph J. Farcht MOUNT WOLF - A double funeral for Joseph J. Farcht Mount Wolf RD 1, who died Sunday in Harrodsburg Ky., and his father, John K. Farcht, who died Friday in Kentucky, where he resided, will be held Thursday. Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. in St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Manchester, of which the son was a member.
      The Rev. Roland E. Garvin, Pastor, assisted by the Rev. Dr. Paul E. Stambach, pastor of Otterbein Methodist Church, Mount Wolf, will officiate. Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery, where military services will be held at graveside.
      Joseph J. Farcht was the husband of Ethel M. Winter Farcht. In addition to his Widow, he leaves a son, Capt. Joseph J. Farcht, serving with the Air Force at Lubbock, Tex.; a daughter, Gail A. Farcht, Oxon Hill Md., and his stepmother, Mrs. Josephine Farcht, Harrodsburg, Ky.A science teacher at Northeastern High School, he graduated from the University of Kentucky, attended Millersville State College and received his master's degree in science and engineering from Temple University. He was a retired liutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
      The Family suggests memorial contributions to the York-Adams Heart Association. Diehl Funeral Home, Mount Wolf, is in charge of arrangements.
