I love Highlander! I've been watching since September '96 after accidently turning on USA channel and catching sight of Adrian Paul. Duncan is my favorite on the program, but I also love EDM and Methos. I enjoy the forum very much, and have been hanging around since April. I tend to lurk mostly because I'm still kind of shy about posting.
I'm 33, been working for a newspaper for 17 years (19 if you count having a paper route), love my pets (a guinea pig and two rabbits), enjoy doing all kinds of crafts and love to read. All the Highlander fanfiction has been keeping me busy as of late I really like reading these stories! Oh, and by the way, I thought Adrian looked fantastic at Syndicon with the short hair, goatee and earring!

I'm a 41 year old engineer (Mechanical & Systems from VA Tech)
and have a 5 year old son (who likes Duncan and is proud of the fact that
his girlfriend is named Tessa), and a husband who is befuddled by all of
this. I work for a defense contractor and manage large software development
programs, like to fly (we have a Cherokee 180), scuba dive, and lately
read lots of HL fan fiction. Worse that that - I've started to hear a quiet

Forum Claim to Fame: I was one of the major players in the Barge saga. Syndicon East 97 was the best time of my life --- I hugged and danced (sort of) with Stan Kirsch, shared an elevator with Jim Byrnes, and nearly walked right into Elizabeth Gracen and JB. I started the clan MacTroll and write both a ton of Highlander fan fiction and just as many Highlander top ten lists.
I turn twenty on September 29, I am frustratingly single (someone ... anyone ... date me!), and I am a journalism student at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have a weakness for ragtime music, 70s disaster movies, and van Gogh paintings. I'm just as hooked on Mystery Science Theater 3000, Seaquest, Days of Our Lives, and Guiding Light as I am on Highlander, and I'll watch anything sci-fi, no matter how bad. I want to be a writer when I get older ... or, hell, I'd do it right now professionally if I could actually get paid. I'm sort of a disaster junkie --- I'm fascinated by the stories behind some of the worst disasters in history, especially the Titanic. I firmly believe that Santa exists, I really wish those kids on the Trix commercials would get rolled by a Mack truck, and I constantly wonder why I can't have my own damn TV show.
