What got me interested

I got interested in reading this book because I've heard of the author Jerry Spinelli, but I'd never read a book by him. When I went to the library with my class, I decided I'd read a book by him. So I saw this one because the cover attracted me over. The cover of this book is in my opinion very catchy. Once I saw the cover and I read the back, which I found pretty interesting. Some other books written by Jerry Spinelli are: "Maniac Magee", "Forth Grade Rats", "Do the Funky Pickle", "Who Ran my Underwear up the Flagpole", "Pickle Mania", and "The Library Card".

Summary

Sunny and Hillary, neighbours and best friends, have been separated: Sunny is going to the new school, Plumstead Elementary, and Hillary is staying at Drumore Elementary. Sunny is determined to do everything and anything in her power to get kicked out of Plumstead and be back at Drumore with her best friend. Sunny does everything from refusing to get off the bus, to telling the new principal that her name is "But Face". Does Sunny get her wish of returning to "Drumore Elementary"? Or does she have to stay at "Plumstead"? You've got to read the book to find out.

Recommendation

I'd recommend this book to boys and girls of any age. This book doesn't have many challenging words. I promise you that reading this book is 134 pages of well spent time!
