Yum another to add to my to try list.
1 package (10 ounces) torn mixed salad greens or 8 cups torn romaine lettuce
6 ounces deli chicken, turkey or smoked turkey breast, cut 1/4-inch thick
1 large tomato, seeded and chopped
1/3 cup bacon bits or crumbled crisply cooked bacon
1 large ripe avocado, diced
1/3 cup prepared blue cheese or Caesar salad dressing
Place salad greens in salad bowl.
Dice chicken; place in center of greens.
Arrange tomato, bacon and avocado in rows on either side of chicken.
Add dressing. Serve immediately.
Makes 4 main-dish or 8 side-dish servings.
Serve with warm French or Italian rolls.
