An alternative to the everyday pot roast
1 16 ounce bag small red beans
4 cups water
1 1/2 pounds boneless honey barbecue pork loin
10 ounce bag frozen seasoning blend
14 ounce jar pasta sauce
12 ounce jar homestyle pork gravy
1 tablespoon cooked, crumbled bacon
1 teaspoon Santa Fe style spice blend
1 envelope Sazon Goya
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat crock pot on high.
Rinse beans and check for stones. Place in crock pot.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 hours. Serve.
Makes 6 servings.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with yellow rice and fresh broccoli.
