1-1/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
3 (1.4 ounces) coarsely chopped white chocolate candy bars
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Layer dry ingredients in a one quart jar along with a gift tag with baking directions. Use a clean 1 quart jar and press each layer down firmly. Layer ingredients in the order given.
Attach the following instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Add 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until completely blended and smooth.
Shape into walnut-sized balls and place on greased cookie sheets, about 2" apart. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until tops are very lightly golden. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to racks to finish cooling.
