The
games on Tuesday, October 20 were cancelled due to equipment
problems. Apparently someone thought we wouldn't need flags to
play flag football. Nice work.

Game 1 (vs. The Worthless Team)
Fourskins 22
Worthless Team 6
Lucky
Duck Foot: Moss
Light
'Em Up
Pepper: Vosectomy
Game Story
A good
debut for the Fourskins. We found out that Snizz was all
that we expected. Moss had a solid game with 2 touchdowns
and an interception. He also got us some good field
position with his punt returns. Vosectomy got the Pepper
for his tackles. The Fourskin defense
played a solid game and almost had a
shutout. The only touchdown scored by the
Worthless Team was on a pass where the
quarterback was past the line of
scrimmage.

Game 2 (vs. Schiltz's Worthless Team)
Fourskins 30
Schiltz's Worthless Team 0
Lucky Duck Foot:
Donkey
Light
'Em Up
Pepper: Tractor
Game Story
We had 2
goals for this game: #1 Toss a shutout and #2 Light up
Schiltz! We did both. We were up 16 to nothing before they even knew
what hit them. We had 16 points without running an offensive play.
Donkey picked off a pass on the first play of the game and took it into
the endzone. Moss also reached "Pay Dirt" on a punt return. Our defense
came up with some key stops, although the illegal center sneak did catch
us off-guard. Bush league. Tractor lit up Schiltz a
few times. Donkey, Vosectomy and El Presidente all picked off passes.
The Fourskins were really fired up for this game,
since Schiltz and company were talking smack before the game. Don't
ever taunt us again. This game also marked the
unveiling of our new uni's.

Game
3 (vs. The
Cockiest Team
in the League)
Fourskins 26
The Cockiest Team in the League
16
Lucky Duck Foot: El
Presidente
Light
'Em Up
Pepper: Donkey
Game Story
This was our most intense
game of the
year and so far, it was the toughest game to win. There
were many words exchanged in the contest. Donkey had some
words with Larry "I'm all talk" after slapping him around a
bit. Donkey lit their players up all game. Vosectomy took
care of business by tossing David Johannson around. Snizz
worked out some nice plays in the huddle and made some good
defensive reads. The game was close, 20 to 16 in favor of
the Fourskins with under 4 minutes to play. The Cocky team
was driving, but the Fourskin D stepped it up. They shut
them down, keyed by Wag Tank's "Strip Sack" on 4th down.
The Fourskins then attempted to put the game away.
Vosectomy came up with the winning call: James Jerome would
be open in the flat with only 1 man to beat. El Presidente
took care of that 1 man (Val) and James Jerome walked in to
seal the victory.

Game 4 (vs. Mix It Up)
Fourskins 12
Mix It Up 20
Lucky
Duck Foot: Snizz
Light
'Em Up
Pepper: Wag Tank
Game Story
Mix It Up got off to a good
start, taking the lead 8 to 0, but the Fourskins scored on the next
possession to make it 8 to 6. James Jerome made some nice moves to get
into the endzone to push their total to 12 late in the second half. The
Fourskins battled all the way
and played tough, but came up a little short. The defense stopped "Cake
Mix" with under 2 minutes to play and forced them to punt. The
Fourskin offense moved quickly down the field and with 10 seconds
left, the Fourskins were on the 2 yard line. Moss would have reached
the endzone, but was stopped at the 2 by "Chex Mix," who apparently had a
flashback to his tackle football days as he rode Moss to the ground. The
Fourskins decided to try a play that
had worked many times before, but Rob Bahr "picked off" the final pass of
the game in the end zone as time ran out. With only 1 referee, it was
tough for him to see if Bahr actually caught the ball, but he he made his
call in favor of "Sir Mix-A-Lot's Squad." Although the Fourskins lost,
they
showed a lot of heart and played as a team. Wag Tank played a solid game
on
the offensive line allowing no sacks on Snizz. Rudy had a tough time on
defense, getting lit up all game, but he still made some nice plays. El
Presidente's juggling act got him a dirty shirt, but did nothing to help
his squad. In this tough game, the Fourskins proved that they could play
with the big boys
and that they won't give up.

Game 5 (vs. Team Levi)
Fourskins 44
Team Levi 6
Lucky
Duck Foot: Moss
Light
'Em Up
Pepper: Vosectomy
Game Story
The Fourskins bounced back from their only loss to beat Team Levi by 38
points. The goal for the game was to score 40 points. When the Fourskins
reached 40, they upped the goal to 50. On the final play El Presidente
batted down a pass and was inches away from picking it off and taking it
back for a touchdown. The Fourskins played an all-around great game, on
offense, defense and special teams. Head coach Nathan Brinkman made some
nice
defensive calls, but "pitching coach" Randolph Shea missed his 3rd game.
It's unoffical, but the rumor is that he quit the team. Team Levi is a
very physical team, there were some punches thrown by Team Levi on kick
off returns,
but it really doesn't matter when the Fourskins pull their
flags! Moss was and offensive standout with 3 touchdowns
and Vosectomy had 3 sacks and a batted pass on defense.
The Fourskins picked off 3 passes; D.D.L., Donkey and Moss
all picked off passes. D.D.L. made a nice diving catch on
his interception. Rudy did his best Deion Sanders
impression by shutting down Jobu Waldoch. Team Levi
wouldn't even throw at him in the first half. Snizz made
some nice reads and finished with 4 touchdown passes. Wag
Tank played well on the offensive and defensive lines,
lighting up jeans-wearing players all night. E.R., the man
with the quickest hands in the league, was grabbing flags
left and right to help shut down Team Levi. James Jerome was
busy guarding the cockiest player on Team Levi and pretty
much shut him down. It's a shame he couldn't back up his
talk. Tractor plowed his way into the endzone on a 2 point
conversion catch. He also had some nice downfield coverage
on a kickoff, but he almost lit up El Presidente. He
doesn't care, he just drills people! The Fourskins proved
that they can bounce back from a loss and a couple games
off. They also showed that they can beat teams that should
be and deserve to be beat, especially ones that wear jeans.

Game 6 (vs. Team Big Friend, Little Friend)
Fourskins 58
Team Big Friend, Little Friend 0
Lucky
Duck Foot: James Jerome
Light
'Em Up
Pepper: Tractor
Game Story
The Fourskins played a great
game against Team Big Friend, Little Friend. The Fourskins played
their hardest to attempt to get the best possible seed in the playoffs.
After this victory, they expected to get the 3rd seed. The defense was
solid,
not allowing a yard in the second half and only 1 first down in the first
half. They finally reached the goal of 50 points, with Snizz throwing 5
touchdown passes and later screwing the team over in the seedings. Moss
scored 3 touchdowns for the 2nd straight game and James Jerome had 2
touchdowns. The Fourskins defense was the highlight, with 4 interceptions
and 2 sacks. Rudy and Moss each had 2 interceptions and El Presidente had
2 sacks. El Presidente attributed his 2 sacks to "Pitching Coach"
Randolph Shea. It was Shea's first game back and he showed the defensive
lineman some moves that helped put pressure on the quarterback on every
play. Vosectomy and Donkey were unable to attend the game, due to work
conflicts. Other than that, the only downside to the game was Tractor's
taunting of the smallest player in the
league.

Playoff
Game 1 (vs. Team
Muffy)
Fan Appreciation Night
Fourskins 27
Team Muffy 8
Lucky
Duck Foot: Rudy
Light
'Em Up Pepper: Rudy
Game
Story
The Fourskins, with their freshly
painted faces, came out guns a
blazin' by stopping Team Muffy on their first possesion, then taking the
ball down the field for an early 6-0 lead. They never looked back. Team
Muffy was stopped again on their next possesion and the Fourskins made
them pay. The score at halftime was 12-0 in favor of the yellow-clad
warriors. The Fourskins had a 25-0 lead with under 2 minutes to go, but a
safety broke up the bid for a shutout. Team Muffy scored their first
touchdown of the game to bring the score to 25-8, where it stood until
Diamond Dave Logan picked off the 2 point conversion pass and took it the
length of the field for 2 points. The offensive line was a huge
contributor to the outcome of the game. Tractor plowed some big holes to
get the running backs some room to roam. Vosectomy played through illness
and injury to become the heart and soul of the offensive line. Wag Tank
was rock solid as quiet giant of the offensive line. D.D.L., the nicest
man ever, with his painted on Rollie Fingers mustache, showed his true
brilliance by picking off the final 2 point conversion pass and running
the tight rope down the sideline. James Jerome did it all, running,
blocking, and even throwing a perfect spiral for a first down. Snizz
played another great game as the signal caller and "swam" downfield for a
huge first down. Moss scored 2 more touchdowns and had a huge
interception to stop Team Muffy and get the ball back to the Fourskins
at the beginning of the second half. Moss gave props to Coach
Brinkman after all of his plays. E.R. played up to his "Crazy Clown" face
paint, by
dominating on defense and shutting down the Muff. He even put his life on
the line by batting down a pass in the first half. Donkey played his
usual game, lighting people up left and right, including Rudy. Speaking
of Rudy, he was the first player in the history of the Fourskins to get
both the Light 'Em Up Pepper and the Lucky Duck Foot in the same game. He
batted down 7 passes, including a tipped pass to Moss for an easy
interception. All of them were clutch plays, most of them coming on 3rd
or 4th down. El Presidente carried out the Terrell Davis play fake,
which allowed Snizz time to find Donkey for a 1 point conversion. I can't
believe Muffy bit on play action! Just
1 play earlier he
did an even better "TD" impression with a nice cut-back on his
run for a touchdown.

Playoff
Game 2 (vs. The All-World Team)
All-World Team 30
Fourskins 16
Lucky
Duck Foot: D.D.L.
Light
'Em Up Pepper: E.R.
Game
Story
The Fourskins came into the game as the underdog and weren't
given much of a chance, but they came to play. They actually had the lead
at one point in the game at 8-6, before trailing 14-8 at halftime.
Adam "Moss" Totushek
proved that he is one of the best receivers in the Intramural league
playing a solid game with some nice catches. Mitch "E.R." Wirka got his
recognition by receiving the Light 'em Up Pepper for his great game at
linebacker. Jeff "Wag Tank" Wagner had his work cut out for him playing
nose tackle, but he got some pressure on All-World quarterback, Ryan Shea.
Ryan "Donkey" Haraldson, although he didn't get to light anyone
up in the final game, was a rock on defense, as he was all year.
Peter "Rudy" Pearson continued his great play at the cornerback
position by picking off a pass, but was tackled on a cheap play.
Andy "El Presidente" Meissner had a key block on James Jerome's
touchdown run and ran a nice route to catch another touchdown.
Although he played well on the offensive side of the ball, he was
on the ground almost every play on defense. He was run over by
House, El Presidente was the foundation and he was the house.
Craig "Snizz" Peterson played well again at quarterback in his
final Fourskin game. He will be missed next year. Andy
"Vosectomy" Vacek had to play through illness again, but worked
hard and was a huge part of the offensive line. J.J. "James
Jerome" Douvier had a nice touchdown run and actually read his
block right for once! He showed some speed by outrunning the
All-World secondary. Dave "D.D.L." Logan had the catch of the
year for an important first down by grabbing the ball with one arm
on his way to the ground.
Jared "Tractor" Groehler was solid on the offensive and defensive
lines, although being undersized against the huge All-World lines.
He also screamed out the loudest expletive of the year. The
Fourskins played as a team and made a good run at the
championship. They played well in every aspect of the game, other
than stopping the running of "Cyber Germaine." Although
their season is over, the Fourskins have nothing to be ashamed
of. They had a great season and played hard all year. The Fourskins
outscored their opponents 235 to 86 over the 8 games they played. They
will
be a force in for the next couple years, losing only 1 starter this year,
quarterback, Craig "Snizz" Peterson. The Fourskins would like to thank
their fans for all the support and their coaching staff including head
coach Nate "Ice" Brinkman, Dan "Shotgun" Starken, Chad "Cousin" Becker,
and Brian "Morten" Vieregge. The only disappointment of the Fourskins
season was the appearance of traitor Randolf "Benedict Arnold" Shea at the
final playoff game. Randolf did show up for once, but he was supporting
the All-World Team.
