Sesame Doughnuts ¯º¤f´Ç
Equipment :
teaspoon tablespoon
small bowl small plate
sieve mixing bowl
round-ended knife pastry brush
wok long bamboo chopsticks
draining ladle wire rack and tray
Ingredients :
plain flour 80 g
baking powder 1/4 tsp
bicarbonate of soda 1/8 tsp
castor sugar 40g
oil 1 tsp
water 2 to 2.5 tbsp
oil (for deep frying)  
Method :
1. Sieve flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda together.
2. Make a well in the centre. Add castor sugar and oil.
3. Gradually add in water to form a soft dough. Knead gently till smooth.
4. Form the dough into a roll and divide into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball.
5. Bresh each ball with water and coat with white sesame seeds.
6. Heat oil. Deep fry the doughnuts in medium heat until golden brown in colour. Serve hot or cold.
