Legacy |
I've been thinking lately about what words I'd like to leave behind, or something I've always thought was most important. I've always tried to express that I'm willing to help. To listen, be there, whatever it is you need, I'll help you with it. I've offered my phone number to numerous people in hopes that if they ever did really need to call someone, they'd have my number. I'd hate to lose anyone I know well, or even somewhat well. For someone to end their life prematurely is such a tragedy - there is soo much to look forward to and do in life. I hope I can experience all that, and that I still have a long time to do it. I think you need to appreciate life, which involves worrying a little at times, but the rest you need to enjoy it. I've always liked to look out for other people. If my group isn't happy for some reason, then I have trouble being at peace too. I think everyone should generally be happy. You're living a great life and should enjoy it for what it is. No one is out there having a problem less life, so don't fret over yours. Confront the problem you have and fix it, there are some billion people in this world.. talk to someone, they might just have the answer your looking for. I'd love to make every girl's first kiss worth it, or be that guy that is missing in every relationship they dream of. It may not be possible, but I can wish! I think that's the legacy I'd like to leave. I've never smoked, drank, or taken drugs, and I don't see a single reason why anyone would ever need to - they cost money you could spend on CDs instead and they just kill you. Drink some ice tea or water, it's just as good. The sun is a great thing too, especially after a long gray winter. The first day the sun comes out and it's just warm is probably one of the best days of the year. How could you be in a bad mood on that day? Sleeping outside is great too, but don't do it alone, find some friends and enjoy a camp fire. Don't be afraid to open up and talk and laugh with each other. Don't be afraid to be friends with a girl either. You don't need to date a girl to enjoy her company. The things girls do everyday for guys is unbelievable, how could you not want to know what they do during the hour they got up before you did? Read some books , play some sports, sleep 8 hours , listen to music , say "Hi" to everyone you walk by that you know - even if you only know their name , smile , and take the school bus home every once in a while.
My legacy , pass it on , give it a try. :)
