The Latham Connection. The Latham Connection starts with Lydia Latham born in 1654 and who married John Packer 2nd. She is the 5th great grandmother of Frances L. Berlin. The ancestor's of Lydia Latham starts with Dunning De Lathom, born about 1031 in  Saxon, England. Sir Dunning and his wife, Marigard Essex, are the 26th great grandparents of Frances L. Berlin. It should be noted that personal research was done on Lydia Latham through her grandfather, Nicholas Latham b. 1575. The genealogy file for the remaining ancestors from Nicholas' father through Dunning De Lathom comes from researcher, Don Latham. Don sent the file to me 2 December, 1998. I have heard both pro and con as to whether this file and its sources have been fully confirmed. I present it here only as information.

the devereaux connection. The Devereaux's are a large family. This family is compiled in a book entitled, "A GENEALOGY OF THE FAMILY OF DEVEREAUX OF THE LINE OF JONATHAN DEVEREAUX" Compiled by Cyril Allyn Herrick and Charles F. Haight, edited and published by Charles F. Haight, Lansing, MI July 1929. However the first official Devereaux in our history starts with "William". William is a mystery and whether he descended from this family is not officially known but there is strong circumstantial evidence. So please bear with this researcher as the file starts in the book and proceeds down the ancestry trail the William Devereaux family. William Devereaux and Huldah Bailey are the 2nd great grandparents of Frances L. Berlin.
