Sarah A. Davie Thurtell is buried in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Her grave
shows she died February 28, 1892, aged 90 years, 8 months. She is listed
in the 1871 Ontario Census - File //Wellington/Wellington 82, line 105 -
the index shows Thurtell, Sarah, Female, age 69, born in England,
Religion - Church of England, Paternal ethnic origin - English, District
033, Subdistrict C, Division 3, page 5700 of census.

She was thought to have been born about 1802 in Wells, Suffolk, England
or Wells, Somerset, England. According to information received in 1997
from Peter Murray, there is a record in Kessingland, Suffolk, England, of
the baptism on July 5, 1801, of Sarah Anne Davy, born June 20, 1801,
daughter of John and Anna (Aldborough) Davy.

for Mrs. Sarah A. Thurtell appeared in the "Acton Free Press" on March 3,
1892, page 2, column 1.
