JC crumpled up another piece of paper. He threw it towards the waste basket, but it missed. He looked at the date on his watch. The 13th. February 13th to be exact. The day before Valentine's day. The day that came once a year for those that are in love. Well, he hated Valentine's day.

The day for the lovers held no meaning at all for him. He had no lover to share the day with. He never really had one. Even when he was with Bobbie, he had hated the day cause he had never really loved her. The person he did love he could never have, so Valentine's day sucked.

He had been in love with one person forever it seemed like, but he knew that the person could ever return his feelings for him. Justin would never love him. Justin had it all. Fame, fortune, and a beautiful woman to share it all with. He wasn't gay. He wouldn't ever JC as someone he could be with. They had always been close. Ever since their MMC days. If Justin had ever even looked at him in that way he would have known. He had come out to Justin and the rest of the group when they first started, so they all knew that he was gay. He would hope that Justin would feel comfortable enough with him to tell him if he was the same way. So Justin was straight and in love with Britney. He would have to accept that.

Justin didn't know why he had never told JC about the way he really felt for him. They had been best friends forever. Had always shared everything with each other. Well, almost everything. He hadn't told JC that he was gay too. That the whole thing with Britney was an act. That he had been in love with him since they met, and he had not said anything for nine years cause he thought JC would never look at him that way. He would always see Justin as the kid brother, and never nothing more.

Justin was hoping to change that. He had finally made his mind up to tell JC how he felt. He was twenty-one years old. It was time that he started living the life that he wanted, and the life he wanted to live consisted of him and JC together. He had it all planned out. He couldn't just come out and tell JC how he felt. JC would probably think he was drunk or had hit his head somewhere and be all brotherly. He had to be creative. He had been trying to think of the perfect way for JC to find out, and he think he finally had made a perfect plan. He just had to put it in motion.

JC woke up that morning ot feel the sun hitting his face. He opened his eyes slowly blinking them in the sunlight until they adjusted to it. He stretched his arms over his head with a smile on his face until he remembered what day it was. His smile faded and was replaced with a frown. He threw the covers off, and stepped onto the floor. Running his hands through his hair, he walked towards the bathroom when something caught his eye. He walked closer to the dresser, and saw two red roses lying next to the television set. He picked up the roses, and something fell to his feet. Bending down he picked up a candy heart. He hadn't had one of those since he was a kid, and he would get them on Valentine's day from his classmates. He always laughed at the little sayings on the conversation hearts.

He turned this one over in his palm, and read the two words, "Hug me." He smiled as he put it down back on the dresser. He wondered who had left him the roses. He placed the roses back on the dresser, before making his way to the shower.

The rest of the morning is mind kept going back to who had left the roses and the candy heart for him to find. It had to be someone with access to the hotel rooms, so one of the guys or the bodyguards, but he would want to leave him red roses on Valentine's day. After lunch he made his way back to his room, only to find two more roses lying on his pillow. He also found another conversation heart. This one read kiss me. He laughed out loud. Now he really wanted to know who was leaving him these little gifts. He popped the candy into his mouth walking over to place the roses with the other two he had gotten earlier.

He glanced down at his watch. Noticing that he had a few hours before he had to be anywhere, he made his way back to his bed to take a nap. He shrugged of his jacket and kicked his shoes off. Laying on his bed, he looked over at the roses, and closed his eyes with a smile on his face.

When he woke up a few hours later, his hand hit something on the opposite side of the bed. He opened his eyes to find a box of chocolates laying next him. He picked up the box. Godiva chocolates. One of his hidden loves. Not many people know how much he loved them, so this narrowed down who this person was to just a few. He opened the box, and took out one of the candies. Getting out of bed, he walked over to the dresser, and placed the box of chocolates next to the roses. He counted them quickly, and found that two more had been added to the pile. He would figure out who was giving him these gifts.

The rest of the day went by quickly. He kept looking at the four of his friends for signs of which one it was. He knew it had to be one of them, but he couldn't tell which. After the last photo shoot, he went back to his hotel room, and decided to take a shower. He looked around and saw nothing out of the ordinary.

After his shower, he came back out of his room. As he was towel drying his hair, he noticed that the lights had been dimmed. He looked around the room, and noticed a card sitting on the bed. He walked over to it and picked it up. the cover read, 'Will you be my valentine?' Opening it, he glanced at the hand writing. It looked familiar, but he couldn't place it. Sitting on the bed, he began to read:

JC,

I hope you enjoyed the roses and the candy. I wanted to give you something I know you would love on this day cause it will show you how much I love you. I have loved you since the day we met. I didn't know it that first day, but I know it now. I have wanted to tell you so many times, but I never got the nerve to do it. I thought you would laugh at me or something. I wanted to tell you now cause I'm tired of sitting by watching you sad when I know I could make you happy. We could make each other happy. You might be surprised at who I am ,but if you want to know, go open your room door.

JC re-read the card again before placing it on the nightstand. He took a glance down, and decided to put on some clothes before opening the door. He grabbed a pair of sweatpants off the floor and slipped them on. Taking a deep breath, he walked over to the door standing in front of it for a few moments. Finally he reached out, and pulled it open slowly.  When he saw the person standing on the other side, he let out a small gasp.

"Hi, JC."

"It's you?"

"Yes. . hmm. If you aren't okay with it, I can go back to my room, and we can forget about the card and the roses. I just wanted you to know."

JC stood silent for a few moments. He took in Justin's appearance as he looked him up and down. He was wearing a pair of tight black jeans, and white shirt tucked in. "You're dressed to kill."

Justin smiled. "Thanks. Can I come in?"

JC nodded as he moved aside allowing Justin to enter. As soon as the door was shut behind Justin, JC had pushed him against it and kissed him. He pressed his body against Justin's run his hand through Justin's newly grown curls. When he broke the kiss, he raised his head smiling at Justin's swollen lips. "I have been wanting to do that forever, but I never thought you would want me like that."

Justin laughed. "I've been wanting you to do that forever, but I always thought you saw me like a little brother."

JC let his hand trail down the middle of Justin's chest to the waist band of his jeans. "My thoughts aren't exactly brotherly right now, Justin."  JC pulled Justin's shirt out of pants and let his hand rest on the Justin's back. "I guess Valentine's Day doesn't have to suck this year. I finally got what I wanted all along."

Justin kissed JC softly. The plan had worked.
