Gingerbread Backstreet
Boy
by: me :)
Once
upon a time there lived a mother and her son Alexander. Now one day
Alexander got extremely bored and so his mother decided to make gingerbread
cookies with her son to keep her occupied.
Alexander's
mother Denise mixed up a batch of gingerbread and flattened it out.
Taking the greatest care Alexander pressed a cookie cutter into it and
pealed the rest away. Before putting it in the oven Alexander decorated
it giving it two eyes, a nose, a mouth and eyebrows.
They
popped the cookie into the oven and waited until the buzzer went off.
"Mom,
Mom," Alex cried, "it's done!!"
"Okay
Alex," Denise said, "Before I open this oven door I want you to pick a
name for him."
"I
pick. . . " he said, ". . . Kevin!"
"Why
Kevin, Alex?" his mother asked.
"I
don't know mom," was his reply, "I think that he just looks like a Kevin!"
Denise
opened the oven door and Kevin, the gingerbread Backstreet Boy jumped out!!
"IT'S
ALIVE!!!"
Alex said with a mad scientist laugh.
"Come
back!" Denise yelled as Kevin ran out the door.
"Run
run as fast as you can," Kevin called, "you can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread
Backstreet. . . uh . . . MAN!"
Kevin
ran and Alex ran after him but the gingerbread backstreet boy was too fast
for the little boy and he ran away.
Kevin
ran until he came to a farmer dressed in blue jean overalls with his name:
Brian, on the front.
"Come
here little cookie you look good enough to eat," Brian said in a funny
southern accent.
"NO!"
Kevin said and ran off singing, "Run run as fast as you can you can't catch
me I'm the gingerbread Backstreet. . . uh. . . MAN!"
Brian
picked up his pitch fork and joined Alexander in running after the cookie.
Kevin
ran and ran until he came to an old man who was sitting on the porch of
an old house.
"Come
here little cookie, I want to eat you," howard the old man said.
"NO!"
Kevin yelled and ran off singing, "Run run as fast as you can you can't
catch me I'm the gingerbread Backstreet. . . uh. . . MAN!"
Howard
got up and waved his cane in the air. He hobbled along with Brian
and Alexander.
The
gingerbread backstreet boy ran and ran over hills and through the woods
until he came to a teenage boy who was quitetly fishing in a lake.
The
blond boy looked up from the water at the cookie.
"Oh,"
Kevin remarked, "and I suppose you want to eat me too don't you?
Well Run run as fast as you can. . ." he sang loudly.
"SHHH!"
Nickolas the blond boy, hushed, "if you want to talk you'll have to be
quieter and come a bit closer so i can hear you. You'll scare the
fish away!"
Kevin
came closer to Nickolas and continued not quite as loud: "Run run as fast
as you can. . ."
"SHHH!"
Nick interrupted, "not so loud and come closer!"
Kevin
took a couple of steps closer to Nick and continued, his voice wasn't raised
at all now. "Run run. . ."
"SHHH!!!"
Nick interrupted, "not so loud.. the FISH!!!!"
Kevin
came to about two feet away from nick and sang quietly, "Run run. . ."
"What?"
Nick whispered, "come closer I can't hear you!"
Kevin
marched right up to nick and whispered loudly in his ear: "Run run as fast
as you can you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread Backstreet. . ."
CRUNCH!!!
Nick bit the head off the cookie.
"Boy!"
he said finishing Kevin's song. Nickolas devoured the rest of the
cookie.
"Did
you see a gingerbread cookie come running past here?" Alexander asked.
"Was
he singing a stupid song?" Nick asked.
"Yes!"
Brian answered.
"Did
he have two eyes, a nose, a mouth, and eyebrows?" Nick asked.
"Yes!"
Howard answered.
"Nope
haven't seen him," Nick said licking his fingers.
