The Robin Hood 99 (99" wingspan) was my first big bird gassie. It was powered by a Quadra Q35 gas engine. The Q35 cost a hundred bucks back then. Radios back then were not as relaible as they are today.
The Cad Sport was a good flying plane until it got thumbed in at the Rainy River Fly In. The Rainy River event is one of the best, the fish fry is awesome. I bought the Beaver in Arizona, had much fun with it at the Nixon Lake Float Fly and the Lake of the Woods Float Fly at Kenora, On. A photo of the Beaver was featured on the MAAC 50th anniversary calender.
The Piper Pawnee is scratch built from Dick Graham's plans and is powered by a Q35.
A 2001 project was a Sukhoi SU26 from Goldberg plans, followed by a Lanier Stinger 120. Sept. 28, 2002 Lanier Stinger 120 with US 41 engine. March 2004 - Dynaflite Chipmunk - Ryobi 30cc gas engine
